The property was caribean style bungalow set up. Directly on the ocean with a dive shop on the property. Food was plenty, drinks were good, service was awesome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Plenty of activities and excursions to pick from.

We absolutely love Cozumel, and after visiting several resorts on the island, Iberostar is easily our favorite. The on-site dive shop was fantastic, even offering complimentary introductory scuba classes each morning—a great perk whether you’re new to diving or just curious to try it. The food was consistently delicious, and the resort itself is stunning, surrounded by lush, dense vegetation and vibrant wildlife. It’s not unusual to see peacocks, parrots, coatis, iguanas, and even a few friendly cats roaming the grounds. The nightly entertainment was another highlight. The theater productions were genuinely impressive, with talented lead performers who delivered polished, high-energy shows. During our stay, the resort also set up pop-up bars and food stands throughout the property, which added a fun, festive atmosphere. We especially enjoyed spending time painting ceramics on the beach, along with other activities like poolside games, sunset yoga, and beach volleyball. One standout experience was a private couples dinner on the beach—at $200 all-in and well worth it for a special evening. The only drawback is that direct ocean access from the beach can be a bit tricky due to the rocky shoreline. That said, there’s a well-built staircase leading into the water from the pier, making it easy to swim and snorkel. While there isn’t much sandy seabed, the snorkeling was still very enjoyable. A special shoutout to Manolo, Jocelyn, & Carlos for going above and beyond!

Rooms and room service was excellent! Staff at pool was very attentive and we never longed for anything. Music at pool was just a little loud. Might want to heat pools during Winter months. Food at all restaurants was fresh, plentiful and lots of range. Would come again.

The resort is so nice looking with unique features at the resort and your room. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The bartenders will give you some pretty nice stuff if you ask for it. The restaurants are a little loud so we ended up doing the buffet after the first few nights. Fortunately the buffet always has some nice food.

Staff and entertainment was outstanding. We liked the grounds and critters. The drinks were very good. The food was OK. Our room had a musty smell and the bathroom was damp. It was nearly impossible to get a lounge chair by the pool. Entrance door mat would be helpful to keep debris out of the room.

First of all this property is touting itself as a five-star resort which is absolutely not the case, if you're expecting 5 star hospitality then look someplace else. I suppose it might have been a five-star when it opened in the 90s but today I give it a three star. Maintenance was quick to respondas I had five service requests in the room from toilet mechanical issues to the AC and making a terrible racket usually at 3:00 a.m. Tipping is important here as it definitely increases the service availableity and effort by the staff (bring change). The highlight of this property is the dive shop Dressel divers. Very professional well organized dive shop that can handle large and small groups and everything in-between.

This was the best resort my wife and I have been to. So much fun. Staff is unreal. Super well organized, super friendly. Food at the restaurants was great. We will be coming back soon!
