UNSAFE HOTEL. DO NOT STAY HERE

This hotel is UNSAFE!! DO NOT EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL! The room has flimsy locks and the security doors are wide open and the frames are jammed. Hotel staff DID NOT CARE! I ran away from this hotel and checked in to the Hampton Inn next door.

The 4 rating for "area around the hotel" is b/c the new entrance was ynder construction, otherwise it was very well kept. Restaurant and bar next door was convenient, too. Room and in-room amenities were great; comfortable sofa and bed, hot shower and clean bathroom. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient, and there is a small snack and sundries shop in the lobby area. Cinvenient to Iowa City and Coralville sports, hospitals and shopping, just off I-80. Would definitely stay here again.

Less than ideal

The hotel is under construction. Not a big deal, but I would have appreciated a heads up and forewarning that my window is covered with plastic; the room smelled like smoke to which I bought air freshener for the room. The workout facility was not tended in the two times over three days that I used it. The room rate was significantly less expensive than other hotels, well, now I know why. Every space in that hotel needs to be upgraded. Old carpet, moldy shower, and cigarette smell in the room. And where is the fancy patio that is on your website?? Radisson, please say this will get better!

This place is in desperate of an upgrade. Carpet is sticky with old whatever, bathroom fixtures very worn and corroded, sheets came off the bed in all 4 corners during the night, bathroom sink was semi-clogged, windows were covered with paper due to construction, room had overwhelming smell of cleaner, lobby offered one coffee pot (no tea) and the place was incredibly expensive!
