we got stuck during a snowstorm and our plans were shot. it didn't matter, we stayed inside and drink hot chocolate and played cards in front of the fireplace. nice staff, they kept the sidewalks clean and offered a clean broom to clean off our vehicle. it was a win win.

The first room had a mouse tha had chewed open the coffee and left a trail across the table. The second room had plumbing issues and the lock on the door deactivated the key each time. Our room had not been vacuumed and the screen on the window was ripped. The cable tv kept going in and out. The reservation was for 2 nights. We stayed one.

Management refused to give me a refund for tge days i didn't stay when i checked out early. The room was falling apart and the hotel itself needs to be redone very outdated and low quality for the area.

Not great. Front Desk individual accidentally ran our credit card twice. I caught it right away and a hotel manager was able to cancel the 2nd pymt the next day. Simple mistake, but it caused us all kinds of problems and multiple phone calls (6) with the credit card company to sort it out. Room 217 was NOT clean. Dirt and leaves on the carpet, obviously not vacuumed. Shower was not clean - hair on the walls. Room phone did not work. My expectations were rather low at $75/night, but unfortunately this experience failed to reach even the lowest of expectations.

Great location and friendly staff. We had some issues with the snow buildup in the parking lot, and a short shower curtain that left the bathroom floor very wet after showers. My biggest complaint was the lack of drinking water - they have ice however. We came from a different Americinn 20 miles west of this location due to weather. The other property is in Williamsburg, Iowa and is much nicer regarding the beds, pillows, and television with cable, and filtered water with ice - but more expensive.

Location of this property is excellent. The staff were VERY friendly. We had problems with the snow buildup in the parking lot, and a short shower curtain that left the floor soaked during our showers. My biggest complaint is the lack of drinking water. They have ice, but no fresh water available. We moved from a nearby Americinn Williamsburg, Iowa to this one (twenty miles apart), and the Williamsburg property was MUCH nicer. The beds, pillows, television with cable channels were superior in the Williamsburg property - which is higher priced.
