We mainly picked this property because it had a hot tub. The weather was rainy and cool, but we got in the hot tub anyway. The clubhouse was absolutely adorable, and it had everything that we needed. The grounds around the place were pristine. We enjoyed our one-night stay.

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful, clean and inviting. The owners were easy to communicate with and very helpful. We spent time in the hot tub as the sun went down , it was lovely. I highly recommend this property!!

Once again

This is our second time staying at this lovely little cabin and as before: we were blown away at the location. The owners are very receptive and are great at communicating. They made little improvements since the last time we were there and we enjoyed everything.They were thoughtful enough to even leave a little birthday cake for me. Can't recommend this place enough.

Great spot with lots of options!

This was a great spot to relax. They have a really well put-together binder of area recommendations and a trail map of paths on the 12-acre property. It's great to sit out in the swings or down by the pond and enjoy coffee with Jack and Jill, the local goose-couple. The Hot Tub is great for soothing muscles after a day of area hiking and biking. Really, this place has everything. Had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful, quiet & great location

We had so much fun in Floyd and it was made even better by coming back to this adorable one room house in the evening. It was convenient to Floyd and several vineyards. And it was lovely to hop in the hot tub and look at the stars after a day of shopping, eating and sipping wine. Everything was clean and the owners were very responsive when we had questions. They even left us some goodies for our anniversary! Would highly recommend this property!

Perfect jewel box

This was a great spot to stay as a home base while visiting Floyd and our Hokie at VT. We look forward to booking again in the future in the spring, summer or fall when the property can be enjoyed in new ways.

Perfect to reconnect

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The host was amazing leading up to our stay including recommendations for places to visit around town, and even leaving my husband a small birthday cake, gift and card. Such a pleasant surprise. The location was breathtaking, and the house was absolutely perfect. Before arriving, I asked the host about fishing the pond and got the impression we could catch a few but it wouldn’t be much… boy were we wrong. My husband caught at least 15 fish within a few hours. He got to fish, and I got to relax in the hot tub with a cup of (provided) coffee! I have nothing but amazing things to say about this trip, and we hope to return next year.

The Clubhouse is stocked with goodies and ready to go! A nice one bedroom that is cozy and well located for you exploration of the mountains and rivers of southern Virginia. Easy and convenient! Enjoy your visit to the Clubhouse!

Absolutely Loved!

This property is super cute. The owners have done a beautiful job blending the old with the new. It has everything you could possibly need or want. They even provided toiletries, snacks and beverages. The location is very serene with a pond and hiking/walking trails. We really enjoyed taking a hike then soaking in the hot tub. The land is well manicured with beautiful flowers and trees. In addition to the studio being really cute, it was also very clean. The hosts were very personable. You kind of felt like you were staying at a friend’s place. We would highly recommend this property. We would 100% stay there again. 10 out of 10 for sure!

The owner did not advise that the "Cottage" was at the bottom of a hill that did not have a path, or steps to provide a safe way to get to it. As seniors we did not feel it would be safe for us to walk up and down the hill on grass. The owner was not present, so we were not able to communicate our displeasure.

Relaxing clubhouse in perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay! The clubhouse was perfect, the property was so nice & the hot tub was the best. We had never been to this part of Virginia & we loved our time in & around Floyd!! Pamela did so much to make our stay even better - letting us know we could check in early or late in needed, great hits of things to do in the area, complimentary snacks & drinks, easy to follow instructions, quick responses & so much more! We loved our stay & will come back!! We have been on many weekends away in VA - but this was the best to date! And the best VRBO we have stayed at for the price!!!

Perfect birthday getaway!!

This is the seventh year we've gone to Floydfest to celebrate my birth week. Staying at The Clubhouse made it our best Floyd trip ever! From the booking process, throughout the stay, and even after we returned home, the correspondence with Pam and Matt has been exceptional! They welcomed me (unexpectedly!) a month earlier when I drove up to view the location. The clubhouse is adorable, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were several nice little surprises such as snacks, drinks, etc. The grounds are beautiful, and we loved the well-maintained hiking trails, sitting areas, and gorgeous views around the property. Our morning soaks in the hot tub were a fantastic way to start every day. We were even lucky enough to see a bear the first day there. I can't say enough about how perfect this place was, and we can't wait to go back again next year (and hopefully sooner)! Thank you Pam and Matt for being such wonderful hosts and sharing your beautiful clubhouse with us!

This property is a must!

This property is exceptional! We had a weekend away and this property was exactly what we were looking for. The studio was private, very clean, had thoughtful amenities, and the attention to detail is clear. We so enjoyed taking a sunset hike around the property and found handfuls of wild blackberries while the bunnies munched on grass beside us. We had the pleasure of running into the hosts and can’t say more about how pleasant they both are. 10/10 recommended!!

Lovely quiet place for respite!

Such a cute place with thoughtful accessories. The lake and the trails are wonderful, lots of places to sit and take in the view. Floyd was also surprisingly fun! We stumbled into an open mic night with amazing pizza. I’d highly recommend this place! Only watch out is ceilings are a little low. Anyone over six feet would be ducking, but the space is so pretty you don’t spend much time indoors!

Best getaway trip

We had such a wonderful and peaceful getaway trip here this past weekend! The place had stunning views, wonderful hosts, and completely peaceful! We ventured around the property some enjoying what they had to offer before venturing around the nearby areas! Come for the hot tub, stay for the views.

The clubhouse was a quiet little retreat with all the comforts you need for a tranquil getaway. We spent the weekend here for our anniversary and it was more than we could have hoped for. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The property is peaceful and the views are stunning. We didn't want to drag ourselves out of the hot tub, but it was also such a nice place to just walk and breathe and relax.

Beautiful property with a hot tub!

We stayed here for a night and it is convenient from Floyd. It is a cute studio on peaceful property. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Their house is also on the property but we still had privacy. We loved the hot tub and deck area. Would recommend!

Best place ever!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This cabin is an absolute gem! Tucked away near a serene pond, it's the perfect retreat for anyone craving a blend of luxury and nature.
