Close to everything

Had a great stay for the entire family. You can't get much closer to everything in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. Plenty of room for everyone and great kitchen.

Great house!

Great house and location. There were a few things that we thought could have improved. While the listing stated air conditioning, there was only a small unit in the main area, so definitely had to keep the curtains closed during the day. There were fans available, but ceiling fans would have been appreciated. The primary room has a skylight which would be great if it was able to be covered (it was so bright in there!) The other beds were pretty firm, so if you like a softer bed, you might not get great sleep. There was only 1 dish towel in the kitchen. We cooked every night, so it wasn't practical to wash it every night. There should have been at least 2. We did find a few pans on the pot rack that weren't clean. Like not even attempted to wash them, so we just washed everything we used. (also, another reason we needed another dish towel). More storage in the extra bedrooms would have been nice to have. We didn't have younger children, but the play areas would be great for kids. Other than those few things, the house was great. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Spring break

Overall house was very nice. Pictures of the inside of the house were accurate. Inside of the House was very clean and nice. Kids and family loved the game room! Property manager was great with responding to issues in a timely manner. A few complaints we had were that the backyard had absolutely no privacy and actually felt like neighbors were right there in the yard. Pictures do not show that. Also hot tub did not appear clean and we are charged a fee for this. Patio was very messy and dirty. We ended up not using the hot tub or patio which was one reason we picked this house, so that was a huge disappointment.

Family gathering

Great house for 3 couples. Great location . Lots of great hikes. Great restaurants in town We met our kids from Kansas and Oregon .We rented both the house and the Anex. So everyone was super comfortable

Weekend trip - first time to Colorado Springs

We rated this home for our 3-day weekend with 5 stars for many reasons! The location was perfect and close to many restaurants and to Garden of the Gods. The home was just as described on the listing with many amenities. There were just 4 of us but this home is very spacious and would be great for a larger group or family. We made use of the hot tub and enjoyed the games in the lower level. House was exceptionally clean and communication with host was easy. One note if you are coffee-drinkers (we are) - there is both a kuerig and regular coffee maker with some k-cups provided. We brought our own coffee so we could enjoy our favorites. If we return, this would be our choice to stay again!

Colorado Springs Pikes Peak Review

The listing states that the house has air conditioning. While the main floor has two AC units the basement has none. I contacted the owner who claimed there was a portable AC unit in the basement, but there was no such unit and she never responded to my follow-up. This listing accommodates 12 people but only half of the guests had access to AC. Regarding Cleanliness, the amount of water damage to the baseboard and skylight is significant and needs to be addressed. It’s a real eyesore. Additionally, the backyard was not cleaned up when we arrived. In retrospect, there is a huge discrepancy between the pictures on VRBO and what we actually encountered during our stay. As the listing, was not accurate and the follow up was a lack-thereof I would not stay again or recommend.

Wonderful Location and Amenities

This was our first visit to Colorado Springs and this property was perfect for our adult family vacation of 6. We had plenty of room/space for everyone. The house has all the basic necessities we needed supplied. The location was great to great-around - we were no greater than 20 minutes (mostly 10 minutes) to anywhere we wanted to go. Had some fantastic meals - great hikes - and quiet at the end of the day.

Amazing time

We had a blast from the moment we arrived. We play pool till 3am. All the amenities were very accommodating. The only downside was that the grill was dirty but it was no problem cleaning it. We had a great experience.

Great Place to Stay

We arrived about 7:00 and Kaitlyn had everything arranged perfectly. Sparking clean house with all the the furnishing looking brand new. The steam shower in the master bedroom is to die for and the outside hot tub was amazing. The 4 bedrooms are spacious and there was plenty of room for the 3 couples in our party. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, and cookware anyone would every need. I highly recommend this house for anyone staying in Colorado Springs.
