The frustrating thing was pulling up to the property and being faced with the garbage of the previous tenants. Not a very good first impression. Then being told we had to trek it down to the road and it was overflowing and my daughter and I had grease and gunk on our hands and her arm. We go into the house and wash our hands in the bathroom and there are no hand towels. I was very annoyed at that point and didn’t even see the towels on and wash cloths on the beds. But no hand towels except for one in master bath and one in downstairs bath. Tip: there should be more!At that point I was frustrated and then saw the fire pit was gas. We actually brought wood from Montana thinking it was a true FIREPIT. Nope.I talked to the property manager and they were very prompt in responding. We got toilet paper and paper towels delivered and that helped. Overall the house was nice but it really needs the basement carpet replaced. It’s stained and a little gross. Found an earthworm making its way across the carpet which didn’t help my mood. We didn’t spend time outside in the end but the house did fulfill our needs. It needs some love. The fixtures in bathrooms and curtain rods need securing. We do construction and those things stand out. I used the kitchen a lot and it was actually stocked pretty well. Walmart was about five minutes away and we saw wildlife around. I hope they do a little upkeep as it could be a lot better.
