Christmas Lake House

We stayed here with our older kids as we were visiting for the weekend for a family party in the area. House was clean, comfortable and decorated cute for Christmas. We appreciated the complimentary coffee and comfy beds. It was the perfect amount of space.

Great hosts. Clean little home.

The house was just right for the four of us. Two bedrooms and a nice kitchen / living room area. The hosts live nearby. The hosts were great with communication answering some questions we had about the area.

Rob and Megan's place was awesome. They were the perfect hosts. Megan's artwork was a great touch to the beautiful home. Enjoyed the lake and surrounding area as well. We hope to come back someday.

Peaceful weekend retereat

The home was as pretty as the pictures. Super clean, well stocked like i have never experienced before. The hosts were two doors down and available if needed, but not in our business. It was perfect. I wanted a quuck getaway with my 6 YO daughter for Labor day. The lake was a very short walk and has a nice beach area to play in or take the kayaks out from. Another guest arrived the next day and there was plenty of room for all (they had a boat so they were out quite a bit). We didn't go anywhere aside from an ice cream run to town, but there are restaurants and other places to go. I will definitely stay again. Big thanks to Megan and Rob for their hospitality!!

Absolutely Perfect

Casa Calma was truly wonderful. The name suits the house; my whole family felt peace and simple joy while here. The layout flows comfortably and there are thoughtful touches throughout the house that make it an easy place to stay. We'd absolutely book this home again.

Lovely

The property was great. Cooked some food there, beds were super comfortable...But the hosts.... were SO FRIENDLY. I have never communicated so much with a host anywhere I've stayed, and I am so glad I did. They were accommodating and just really kind people that make you feel comfortable and welcome. We used the kayaks, paddle board, my sister almost got attacked by a swan protecting its babies; it was great! I would absolutely stay there again. 10/10.

Communication with host was great. The house was very comfortable and roomier than a hotel would have been. Lots of choices on tv, the internet worked great, the decor was nice with lots of extras and you couldn't ask for more. When I work I have to travel and move often or we would have stayed longer.

Nice getaway

This house is very cute, very clean and decorated SO cool (which I believe is with art made by the owner????) We really enjoyed the off the beaten path location and within a very short walk to the beautiful lake. Only negative at all was the neighbors across the street, loud in the evening, long time running vehicles, just over all LOUD. This of course can not be controlled by the owner I realize and it wouldn't prevent me from staying here.

Short but perfect trip

From the artist decor and ease of the location, to the views and many hikes within a short drive, our stay was so impressive! We loved how comfortable and warm the lake house was- and thank you for the coffee bar!! The friendly neighborhood cat and beautiful weather made this such a sweet trip!
