Good location right near the heart of Christchurch. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The only negative was the fact the toilet and bedrooms were on the third floor which made it a bit difficult for my 75 year old Mum.

The 2 bedroom unit had everything we required. A huge spa bath that was wonderful to soak in. Beds were comfortable however was expecting a king and a queen we had 2 single beds in the smaller room. Clean rooms, friendly team. Will stay again if we need a room in the future.

Power point in bathroom not working couldn't do my hair anywhere near a mirror, looked awful the whole stay. Staff did come to check it but was not able to be fixed during our stay. Light by bed made sparking sound and blew first night. Other light by bed kept flickering. Will ask when booking accomodation from now on if these things are checked before our stay as not being able to do my hair and feel presentable when travelling for a big event is a deal breaker. Have stayed at bella vista in invercargill lots and never had issues like we did in christchurch.
