1. There are two Sonesta hotels at O'Hare, of nearly the same full name. The result: cab drivers may bring you to the wrong one. 2. The hotel shuttle did not arrive for 50 minutes. 3. The bed mattress was very soft, too soft for a good sleep.

I had an early morning flight so I stayed overnight because of the close proximity to O'Hare and the free shuttle. The staff was very kind, patient and welcoming. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. To use the shuttle, go to the lobby with all of your luggage 30 minutes before you need to be at the airport. The driver will be paged and helps you load your bags onto the shuttle. You share it with other local hotels so you will probably make stops along the way and go to different terminals to drop them off, but it was very fast, organized, seamless and convenient. You are guaranteed to get there within 30 minutes. The hotel is also used by extended stay guests, and my room was huge and well stocked! It was clean and comfortable. There is a full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, etc. There is even a full sized dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable. There is a thermostat on the wall and the heat worked well. The bathroom was large. The shower/bathtub has shampoo, conditioner and body wash in individual large pump containers. I had a very nice night and will definitely stay again!

The hotel was in good condition. The only downside is the $10 parking fee, which feels like a rip-off. The property is wide open and only about 3 miles from the airport, so I think parking should be free.
