I had a really great stay at Hotel Riu Plaza Chicago overall. The location was honestly one of the best parts, it’s perfectly situated and close to so many attractions, restaurants, and things to do. Everything I planned during my trip was within easy reach, which made getting around super convenient and stress-free. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt modern and welcoming. The staff was also pleasant and helpful throughout my stay. If I had to rate the breakfast, I’d say it was mid, not bad, but nothing particularly memorable. It got the job done, but it wasn’t a highlight of the experience. That said, the stay itself was great, and I truly enjoyed my time there. I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re looking for a hotel in a prime Chicago location.

The service was excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was also good. The bar in the lobby also served the best cocktails we had on the entire trip. The location was AMAZING, right off of Magnificent Mile! We were within 12 minutes walking time to 95% of the places we wanted to go. This hotel is great value for money.

The location is perfect—right in the city center and within walking distance of all the major attractions. However, the hotel does not offer on-site parking, and nearby overnight parking costs approximately $52 per night.

Clean room, breakfast room staff friendly and efficient, check in and checkout fast. They accommodated my room location preferences and it was a quiet sleep. I like hard floors instead of carpet but the same vinyl flooring was used throughout which made the whole place feel like a hospital vs nice hotel.
