Archer Ave is a major thoroughfare so there was considerable traffic noise. The price was reasonable and the room seemed clean with one standout exception- I found two small cockroaches (5/8” long x 1/8” wide) running around in the bathroom area the morning after my first night’s stay. They appeared to come out of the wall at the frame of the bathroom door. After killing those two I didn’t see any more for that evening or next morning before I departed. It appears the hotel is installing upgrades since the second evening there were workers installing replacement lighting outside the rooms. Although I went to the office to check out and rang the bell, the staff never responded so I used the key drop and didn’t get to notify them of the issue. I attempted to call the hotel later in the day to speak with them and ensure my checkout was processed but no one answered. Also, whenI checked there was initially confusion over my booking and payment via Expedia. With the issues I experienced, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a stay in the future.
