Room was very good staff were efficient and friendly enough.The food in both restaurants was the usual standard fare very overpriced for plates of food with chunky chips and bowls of peas. Dog friendly means the chance of a pampered pooch yapping in the bedroom next door whilst trying to go to sleep.The hotel is fine as hotels go but we left a bit underwhelmed with our experience.Wont be booking a hotel on Expedia again that allows dogs to stay.Very good breakfast selection though.

Fantastic hotel with comfortable Rooms & lovely Spa/pool facilities. Ate at both restaurants and the food was excellent. Staff very courteous and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Standard of room was sub-par. Blinds didn’t close fully, dust on lamps, coffee splashes, cleaning fluid, cups and teaspoons not clean, mark in toilet bowl, soap dish and pedal bin not cleaned properly. All minor housekeeping issues and not serious enough for me to want to move rooms.

Shame as it’s actually a fairly nice hotel, decor is a bit chintzy, trying so hard it’s actually a little tacky Most of the staff were great but let down but a sulky moody and unhelpful receptionist on check in who didn’t seem to really care that they had made a mistake with the booking just shrugged her shoulders and said “what you booked isn’t available now so you will just have to make do with what we have” no apologies just take it or leave it attitude Room was grubby, we had to move furniture to accommodate family and it was filthy behind / under with debris from previous guests food etc Swimming pool area also grubby and dated First impression set the tone so we only ate breakfast at hotel Wouldn’t stay again

Room was really big. Very clean Spa was lovely, not too busy very clean. All staff were very polite friendly and helpfull. Our waiter in the palm court was excellent. Olly. All food was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast and evening meal at the palm court. The hotel was very luxurious and beautiful decor. We like bed celebrating our friends 60th birthday there and will definitely be back.
