The manager was extremely rude, the guy who checked me in said he would let me know when a room became available (as there were no clean rooms when I checked in), but he took off for his lunch break and didn’t tell the other employees I was waiting there.
They refused to let me cancel my upcoming reservation after I had a bad experience with a manager, and then they tried to charge my credit card three times in a row for something and triggered a fraud alert that got my credit card frozen.
Definitely my worst experience in 31 years of staying at hotels in China.
The only positive was all the young women who worked there were very friendly and tried to do what they could to make up for the rude manager.
