My Best Western stay

Check in was easy. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub area was nice, and both were at very comfortable temperatures.

We arrived late very tired after visiting with my brother who is terminal. There was no one at the front desk with a strong over powering smell of marijuana in the lobby as we walked into the reception area. Had to wait 20 minutes for someone to check us in and get our room key. Very disappointed

Toilet seat was broken when we checked in. Broke completely after one use. Front desk was less than helpful. Waited for management to approve replacement! Definitely need to improve oversight and customer service.

Good but could do better.

Had trouble assessing my room as keys kept deactivating. Was heavily discouraged from using the Kuerig when the free coffee was available. Service was so-so but not overwhelming courteous but did everything required. Compared with other options this is the best available property in Cheboygan but if there was serious competition it might facilitate changes.
