Horrible location
We booked this property because it was listed as pet-friendly and looked decent in photos. However, the neighborhood felt unsafe. My husband and I didn’t feel comfortable walking our dogs in the area, so we had to drive elsewhere every time. We also avoided returning after dark.While the yard was fenced, parts of the fence had gaps large enough for our 8-pound dog to crawl through. There was also poop near the grill and the grass was taller than we would like. We raised this concern with the owner immediately and asked to leave with a partial refund—offering to forfeit 50% of the total plus all fees. He refused and later told VRBO he wanted us out due to fear of a negative review, leaving us stuck in a bad situation with no resolution and a financial loss.
