This cottage was great. Would rent it again. Perfect for us and close to downtown Belmont. Easy 5 minute walk. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The host, Ryley Beaumont, was great. Answered all our questions and made the booking, check-in and check out smooth.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very quiet Belmont Bungalow! This little gem was as charming as detailed in the posting. Clean and well stocked to meet all our needs.Truly within short walking distance to the Christmas decorated downtown Belmont area where we found quaint shops and restaurants to visit. Grocery stores within minutes. Also a short drive to McAdenville, NC where we enjoyed the town wide Christmas light display. A must see! Host was amazing to work with, communications were prompt and informative. We will plan to stay again with this Host while in Belmont. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!

Business trip

This was the perfect place and location for our business trip. We each had our own room and bath and plenty of space. It was in walking distance to downtown Belmont and to the office. Ryley, was great to communicate with. Highly recommend this rental.

Location saved this from a one star review

Pros: Location. Easy walk to downtown. Cons: Unappealing, dirty porch. Inside was tidy but not necessarily clean. Dust, dead insects. House had that feel that it hadn't been occupied in quite a while. Cookware was unusable due to scratched and chipped non-stick (health hazard). No internet for two days, I was actually asked to be available for a Spectrum rep. That wasn't happening. Thermostat reset itself from 74 to FIFTY degrees in the middle of the first few nights, the house temp at 6 a.m. was 64. In July. In North Caroline. I was able to fix that issue after the property manager (nice guy) couldn't figure it out. The last straw was the promised compensation for the inconveniences that never showed up despite repeated requests that were answered with "I'll check on that."
