We had an amazing weekend in our Charleston cottage! Perfect amount of space for 4 people, very clean with a great backyard. Walkable to King St and many fun restaurants and bars!

Great 4 Day Getaway to Charleston

Teheran property was as advertised. The parking spot was right, but we managed to have no problem with a mid sized SUV. Everything was clean and it was really nice to have a private outdoor patio in the backs of the house. One of our biggest concern was noise from the street and other condos and thankfully that wasn’t significant given the property was set back from the street. It was nice this property was its own standalone place and didn’t have shared walls.

Must stay!

We absolutely loved this property! The home is quiet, clean, extremely comfortable and had everything our family needed for an enjoyable stay. It’s in a lively neighborhood and we were able to walk to so many great restaurants. We will happily stay here again.

Anniversary trip

The stay was great. The home was clean, safe, and nicely decorated. We could walk everywhere in downtown Charleston. We were close to great food, museums, parks, and shopping. The hosts were very helpful and replied quickly. 10/10 recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Winter wonderland

Our stay coincided with the first snow in Charleston in many years. Needless to say we spent more time at the property than we had planned. Other than needing to leave the tap dripping at night - a must for many homes in this city - the heating system handled the cold well. One annoyance was the delay getting hot water frOm the on demand water heater. Overall a clean neat well managed property! We also found an excellent new coffee/sandwich/deli shop call Daniella’s Downtown which we can very much recommend!

Stay Duvet Charleston

Stay Duvet was responsive, however, there were many things that made this stay mediocre and we would not stay with this company again There was no welcome book, just QR codes which was annoying. One of the QR codes advertised a free cupcake from a shop that was never open. There were empty paint cans in a main unlocked closet and kitchen cabinet. You could not open the closet in one room unless you folded the rug over. There were no extra blankets in any closet and the bedding was super thin, almost sheetlike. It was a cold spell when we were there. They brought extra bedding at our request but dropped it off in a garbage bag with 3 thin fleece blankets just shoved in a plastic bag. The shower had terrible pressure as you could only turn it on a hair or else it was freezing water as the hot and cold were reversed. I had to reset the wifi daily to get it to work and I was trying to have a working vacation. The volume on the TV did not work unless you used voice remote. There were a few stains on the couch. For the price we paid, we could have stayed at a hotel that was farther down King street with more amenities and conveniences. I would not stay here again or with this management company again.

Quick & Quiet Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We had a 1 night stay, but there were plenty of amenities. The house is clean and well maintained. The area was quiet. It was a short walk to Charlies General store as well as Holey City Bagels.

Best girls weekend!

I would recommended this place over and over again! Hoping to come back next summer and stay. 4 block walking distance from King St. The place was so clean, beds were comfortable, and patio was perfect! We were able to easily Uber to beaches and other parts of Charleston. Shared driveway so if u were to have a rental car be aware it’s a tight squeeze. This place is exactly as is in all pictures!

Great Location

We loved our stay here! Everything was clean and all instructions given were exact and precise. We were far enough away from the hustle and bustle and noise of downtown so our stay at this location was enjoyable. Downtown Charleston was a 5 min car ride away! The owner of the property even left a voucher for each of us to get a free cupcake from the Sweet Shop across the street. If we come to Charleston again, we will definitely stay at this location!

Fantastic location

We enjoyed our stay in our little house. The location was wonderful and it was Nextdoor to a fantastic restaurant. Coffee shop and bagel shop were a short walk away. The beds were very comfortable.

Dissapointed

For the amount of money spent on a 4 pm to noon booking, we expected a more. We have stayed at vrbo's for the last 13 yrs. This is our first bad experience. We couldn't use the backyard due to all the palm tree seeds that were all over the ground, table, and chairs. The coffee carafe was dirty...left over water/coffee left in the bottom. The fan in the bathroom barely worked...so stuffed with dust. The smoke alarm in the bedroom was removed. The house wasn't cleaned properly. The conceirge apologized. We did get some money back, but not enough considering how much we paid. Hopefully they have communicated with the cleaning staff and this won't happen again. Good location.

Secluded privacy close to King

We really enjoyed this private and very well appointed 2 bedroom house tucked back off the street. Easy walking distance to the shops, sights, sounds and smells of King St….but minus the noise. Landlord is very responsive, polite and service minded. Cool little wine bar 1 block away and a fabulous bagel shop on the corner….both maybe 2 minutes walk from the property.

Overall Great and Sparkling Clean

Sparkling clean and well stocked. Loved the location and the StayDuvet team was response. Only have a few suggestions to make it even better. It would be nice to have a small dustpan and broom to clean up the berries outside and the clear crumbs in the house. Also the AC worked well but the house was very humid. Not sure if there is a good way to improve the humidity indoors. I know its SC but the AC made the sheets damp.

Stay Here! Won’t be disappointed

I sighed relief walking in because it was just like the pictures. The front covered porch would be great for morning coffee if you’re into that. The eat in table was great for visiting. The backyard set up was so nice especially with the lights and hammock. We enjoyed that the last night. Location was close to everything but a very quiet street which was perfect. We never heard our neighbors. And the bed! You just sink into it. Would stay again.

Great spot, great location

The two bedroom home was a great place to stay, just blocks from King Street and dozens of dining options within short walking distance. The house was clean and had a great back patio for enjoying some sunshine. Would highly recommend for small groups.

Great Weekend Getaway

Property and location was great and walking distance to restaurants, cafes and entertainment. Perfect area for walking just about everywhere. Large backyard with privacy, however, outdoor furniture needs a little TLC. Would book this place many more times

In town for C of C Graduation

Property was perfect for our family’s stay during the C of C graduation. It was located close to our daughter’s apartment and close to local restaurants. Neighbors were polite and quiet even during all the graduation festivities. The house is well appointed and very comfortable and the back yard is great - perfect place to stretch out and relax. Definitely recommend!

Great space and convenient

This property was really wonderful aside from a few maintenance things. The shower doesn’t have a door, just a glass siding, which doesn’t keep water in the shower well at all—making the whole bathroom very very wet which wasn’t great for our kiddos. Also the couch had some serious stains but other then that we fully enjoyed the space and liked the location! We would stay again with friends but probably not with our two young kids.
