For $45 a night I didn't have high expectations but it was close to our destination, Lake of the Woods. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly as was another man who was probably his father or father in-law. The room was certainly not up to date, but seemed to be clean. It had WiFi and a nice large TV, although we couldn't figure out how to get the channels we wanted, but found a show to watch. The hot water took a long time to get hot, towels were older and rather worn, no smoke detector. If you're looking for a no frills, low cost place to lay your head for one night it wasn't that bad. I got the impression the owners probably couldn't afford to make improvements.
