Great experience and awesome host (Ethan). Quick responses to any questions. Horseback riding, the feeding tour and feeding the hand feeding animals was so fun.

Animal Hugs for Everyone!

If your family/friends are animal people, this is the place for you! My favorite part of our weekend was feeding all of the farm animals from the porch. The ranch is SO relaxing! Ethan, the ranch caretaker, is the kindest young gentleman you will ever meet. And he had the BEST stories! You will not regret a trip to Rockin' Rowdy Ranch.

Amazing Place!

This is our second time staying at RRR and we loved it as much as the first time! Our kids loved feeding the variety of animals and going horseback riding. It is very relaxing experience and such a great way for the kids to get a personalized experience with animals. Ethan and Sue were great!

Our 2nd Christmas stay!

It’s a wonderful place for our grandchildren! Plenty of bedrooms with a bathroom in each room! Everything you need is there! We had a blast!

Relaxing Stay on Lovely Ranch

We had a great time at the Rockn Rowdy Ranch. My children loved interacting with the free roaming animals and waking up to a zebra in front of the house! Highlights were our youngest riding a pony, horse-back riding, feeding the animals and being able to relax and have fun in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend this ranch for a getaway!

Girl's Getaway

This is such a great place to stay if you're wanting to relax! A group of us stayed in the very cozy lodge for the weekend and had a fantastic time! First, the people: the owner is johnny-on-the-spot with communication. She gives all the information you need for your stay, including reminders about the closest towns with groceries/shopping and tips on local restaurants. Crystal and Ethan, the ranch caretakers, are SO special! They are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The lodge itself is very cozy - spacious, kitchen equipped with everything you need, and comfortable beds and linens! We went out with Ethan on Saturday morning to feed the animals - what a treat! The animals are adorable. I think we would all agree that Bear (Great Pyrenees) was our favorite though. He was our "protector" all weekend. This was the perfect "halfway point" for friends living in Houston and Dallas to meet up. Pretty sure this will become our yearly girl's trip meeting place! Thanks, Susan, Crystal, and Ethan!

What a great and unique adventure!

I looked long and hard for our next vacation place, and I finally landed on the Rockn Rowdy Ranch. When vacationing with a family, it can be hard to ensure you have something that everyone will enjoy. We went with a family of 8, who's ages start at one, then 5 twenty-somethings, and 2 in their 50s... every single person loved it. The hosts were excellent and we felt right at home. We didn't get a chance to do all that is offered there, so we will be back!

The perfect getway

Let’s just say, we didn’t want to leave! The pictures do not give it justice, this property is even more beautiful and peaceful in person. Ethan & Crystal were wonderful, accommodating and available if we had any questions or needed anything. The Wagon feed was so much fun and such a memorable experience, we also rented Golf Carts which made it very easy to explore the property. We look forward to visiting again in the near future! Thank you Rowdy & Sue for sharing this amazing place with us.

Wonderful hidden gem

We absolutely loved staying here. So relaxing and every morning we woke up to all the animals in the front yard just grazing. To see and hold a baby kangaroo was the highlight of our trip.

Truly different experience

I have never stayed on the grounds of an exotic ranch before. What an experience.... hands down the best time we have ever had at a VRBO. Hand feeding a Buffalo are you kidding me! Caught 10 nice size bass in less than 4 hours. Sue and her team do a great job making you feel at home. Thank you Crystal and Ethan for the great time. A couple of things to make sure you do: Rent the golf cart, Buy the bucket of feed, eat at the Leona General Store and relax...
