Beautiful lake cabin. Within a 1 1/2 hour drive to Chattanooga. Only downside is the door lock was difficult to lock and unlock. We thought the door was locked until we came back and it was not, made us feel uneasy.

Family Vacay 2025

We had an awesome stay for our family vacay. My husband, our two grown children, their spouses, and two grandchildren enjoyed the family time here. We spent most of our time on the pier, swimming, talking, kayaking, and just hanging out. The house had everything you need and then some. The neighborhood is quiet and calming. The only negative for us was the water was not deep enough to bring our boat to the pier. You will need a pontoon to get to the house if traveling by water. The nearest launch was just a couple minutes from the house.Al together, we had a blast and would love to go back again. The gift basket & kayaks came in handy with the grands. Thank you so much for the basket and the kayaks.

Great time at Cozy Bear

We had a marvelous time. The house was top notch. It was far better than the description. The kitchen had everything you would need or want. The beds were very comfortable. We felt we were at home. We had to contact the owner a couple of times about minor things and they responded immediately. We will definitely be going back. This was one of our favorite places ever that we have vacationed at

This was an ideal place to stay for a quiet extended week while teens attended Space Camp 2 hours away. We enjoyed multiple sunset kayak floats. The dock was awesome to have right out back. It was easy to put the kayaks in and our paddleboards be brought with us. We didn't fish, but did see fish jumping so they are there. We did not cook very much but the kitchen had everything we needed to make our basic meals and bake brookies. The bathrooms are huge, beds were comfortable, and layout worked well for our group of 1 1/2 families with teens, some only there part of the time. I will say that the nearby towns are very quiet and most restaurants close at 9pm or earlier. If you plan on late evenings on the lake, plan on some dinners at the house. The location is great to head in to Fort Payne (Alabama fan club and museum) via little river falls, go to Pruett's and Noccalula Falls in Gadsen, or head to Rome. Overall it was a great stay and we would stay at the house again if travels take us that direction.

It was me and two bodies who have been best friends for over 40 years. I live in West Virginia, one lives in Florida, and one lives in Arizona. We met just for a get together and do some fishing. The fishing wasn’t really good we caught a few fish, but nothing extreme but the views and the water and the area was beautiful and perfect. The cabin itself was very very comfortable and we did enjoy the pool table in the basement. The only complaint I have and it’s a very small one. The Wi-Fi password in the book did not work so we did not have Wi-Fi for three days. we texted the owners of the property and they never got back to us with the correct password. But overall beautiful comfortable cabin.

Perfect getaway!

The Cozy Bear home on Lake Weiss was a perfect getaway for our family. Very clean, plenty of space, and a beautiful view. We had a great time relaxing, fishing, and playing games. The host was wonderful and we appreciated all the extra details! Thank you!! We hope to come back soon.

Lake House

Very nice place on the Lake with well equipped kitchen. Nice fire pit for evening futures outside. Very quiet location. Owners were great and responsive to any questions we had beforehand.

Roomy house on lovely lake

The house and location was just what we needed. The 3 bedrooms meant we each had privacy, and our own air conditioner. loved the 3 bathrooms and screened-in porch . Love loved the dock, kayaks, floats, grill. pool table, games, TVs, stocked kitchen, air fryer, and comfortable seating. Very happy with this location on Weiss Lake.

Relaxing

The house was exactly as described. Located on a quiet cove of the lake. We enjoyed our stay and spent most of it on the screened porch looking at the water. The view was understandably (season of the year) somewhat obstructed by tree leaves but still great. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent Stay

The property fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, the welcome basket was a huge surprise and made us feel like we were coming home. The location, dock and Lake access are perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay!
