The house itself was very nice, and the location was great, very close to the beach. The complex was also peaceful and well-kept. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was that the pool was closed for renovations. The pool was actually the main reason I booked this property, especially since we were traveling with small kids and knew they would be excited to swim. Before booking, I specifically contacted the owner to confirm that there was a pool (since there were no pool photos in the listing) and to ask whether it was heated. The owner told me that there was a pool and that they begin heating it on April 1.It was extremely disappointing to arrive, walk over to the pool, dressed in our swim wear, and find it completely empty with a sign saying it had been closed. Had I known the pool would not be available, I would have booked a different property. The kids were very disappointed. I reached out to the owner who stated he didn’t know the pool was being renovated. Thought it was odd they aren’t aware of major construction happening to their complex.
