Welcome to Ellen's House

This three bedroom + den, 2 bathroom vacation villa situated in the highly desirable SW Cape offers a great layout and amenities. The home is centrally located to shops and restaurants. Enjoy the perfect set up for Florida living!
This location offers a quick drive to all essential locations in Cape Coral. It is about 10 minutes to Matlacha, 30 minutes to Fort Myers Beach and about 45 minutes to Florida International Airport.
Ellen's House features typical Floridian décor; the three bedrooms are fitting for an extended family with two king-size bedrooms and one bedroom that is set up with a queen bed.
The den with a sleeper couch and desk can potentially accommodate two small children in addition to the set up of 8.
The main bedroom along with its relaxing en-suite bathroom is located on the left side of the home. Located next to the front entrance, is the den with desk and pull out couch. The right wing of the home features two more bedrooms as well as a hallway bathroom with access to the patio. Formal dining and living areas flow to the centrally placed kitchen which is the center of the home with beautiful views of the lanai and pool.
For your convenience, all linens for your stay are included and long-term stays are permitted.
Upon entering the home, you have an unobstructed view to the pool area and lanai.
Wireless internet, and a washer and dryer are also available for your convenience.

Highlights of the outside include: western facing pool, having meals outdoors, a large lanai waiting to be used for sunbathing, grilling, lounging, entertaining or just relaxing and enjoying morning coffees on the dock with amazing views down the canal. The process of getting the check-in info was difficult. I had missed an email that the company had sent, we booked the Thursday or Friday before our vacation the following monday, our drive there I was checking my VRBO and email for the check-in info which was not there. I messaged first through the app to get the info, no reply for 30+minutes so I called. Phone rang until it was picked up by v-mail, I left a message. Then I had a reply on the app. We are already driving at this point and service was bad, to get in touch with them over the phone is nonexistent and through the app is slow. Eventually I received the email that we needed to fill out and sign (15+ pages of stuff) we got our check-in info and proceeded to the property. Once we went inside there were over 25+ huge dead bugs/flys in every room besides one of the bedrooms. We swept them up and took photos and let the property manager know there was dead bugs everywhere and that they had already been cleaned Their response was if I needed them to send housecleaning. No, it had already been clean. They said the house was cleaned 9 DAYS before our arrival. Which is gross to not even have a walk through the day of to check everything for guests that are paying them for a service. Second day of vacation I (mom) fell from the hot tub into the pool because they have a slab of countertop in the hot tub waterfall area! It is over 2 weeks since our vacation and I still have nasty bruises down the back of my leg. No warning!

We loved the stay here. Extremely comfortable and private. Very nice vacation home. Some of the faucets and sinks need maintenance, but overall this is a very nice home. The grill needs to updated with new burners and the dishwasher did not work, but these were all minor inconveniences and I'm sure will be corrected before the next renter.
