We booked the two bedroom suite for five people and only stayed for one night. The location of the hotel was in more of a suburban area, but a quick ten min ride to the main parts of Burlington. When we checked in, there were cider donuts and apple cider in the lobby. There was also tea available. The ambience of the lobby and dining area attached were very warm and comforting. The included breakfast was what can be found at other hotels. The hotel social hour with wine and snacks are only available Tues-Thurs so unfortunately did not get to experience that. The room with the double beds in the suite weren’t very comfortable, a bit too springy for our liking. Overall very pleasant stay and would stay again!

The hotel calls itself “upscale” but it is no such thing. It’s not any better than a La Quinta. Our bathroom was shabby with rotted parts of the bathroom that is in dire need of updating. The pillows were like rocks and for what we paid for an alleged upscale hotel there were no robes or coffee in the room. Also the coffee was watered down and gross. What kind of hotel calls itself upscale and makes guests use paper cups only at breakfast? How cheap can you be? If this was a cheaper place I wouldn’t have cared but don’t be fooled by the nice pictures or the 4.4 rating or the misleading description.

We loved our stay at The Green Mountain Inn! The hotel was just what we wanted for our Vermont stay. It was clean and had all the New England charm. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will stay here every time we are in the Burlington area!
