Beautiful place

The house was perfect and exactly as described. However, the canoe and kayaks were dirty, had leaks and didn’t have enough paddles. Also a dirty un-licensed boat was parked at the dock and blocked air circulation and had a lot of bugs.

So to start. When I was about to leave our home to drive to this home I received a welcome text from the property saying that the grill outside needs gas and if I wanted to grill I’d have to go get propane and send them the receipt and they would reimburse me. Wild to have the guest do that for the property. Upon arrival to the place we were greeted with a couple of older boats parked on the side of the property. Getting out and walking to the door up the stairs of the deck we were greeted with tons of spider webs and bird poop everywhere. I get it’s in the woods but this was old spots left over from days of not weeks ago. Go inside and check on everything and the mater bath has spiders in all corners and they are also in the sun lights in the ceiling. After this we went down to the dock. Once again covered in spiders and bird droppings. Oh and also a rocking chair that appeared to be thrown 20-30 feet from the dock sitting in the water upside down. When it was dinner time everything was working until it was time to do the dishes. The dishwasher which is actually mentioned in the ad that it is their for our convenience actually did not work. After doing troubleshooting I found the breaker in the fuse panel was switched off. So this was a known issue and it was flipped so no one would use it. The microwave was sporadically working and not working. Brought these problems up to the management company. They wanted to send people out during our vacation to fix them. I declined it.

Christmas Vacation 2024

Sawmill Cove was a fantastic experience, even in late December. There was plenty of activities, the property was well kept with plenty of amenities, and the bonfire pit in the backyard was incredible to reconnect with family. There was ample space in the home for our party of 6, as well as a great basement with a pool table. The main floor had the best view from the windows, and the best old school recliner. Strongly recommend.

A Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We booked this house to host our daughters birthday gathering. There was plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs area was perfect for the younger guests, it had loads of toys, a TV, and a pool table. The kitchen has almost everything that is needed to prepare most meals. It was cold while we were there for we didnt make much use of the outdoor areas but it was a beautiful location. We would definitely rent here again in we needed a place for when our family comes to visit.

Lake house

Great house, great location, family fell in love with house and didnt want to leave. Really loved the private boat launch and boat dock for our pontoon. Would definitely stay again at this exact home and will tell friends about it too.
