I’m going to start with the worst so that you can make your mind up early. The cabin is infested with bugs. The worst part is the bugs were behind, under, around and IN THE BED YOU ARE MEANT TO SLEEP IN…. To make matters worse when I reported this I was told the bugs are a natural part of the ecosystem. I’m sorry but it doesn’t matter how much the bugs are vital to the ecosystem, if I’m paying money to stay at a residence under the establishment of hospitality. There should be 0 bugs in the space and at the bare minimum not in and around the bed I should be laying my head to sleep at night in peace…The next WORSE part of this experience is the communication with the hosts. It was almost as if they didn’t exist. Communication would come back to me after I sent multiple texts over hours have gone by. Even customer service tried to contact the host on my behalf several times aAs soon as I saw this I was traumatized and feared for my health and safety so I called customer service and could not reach them. Once I saw the bugs I immediately contacted customer service and the host and left, I was inside for less the. 5min. I requested a refund for wasting my time, energy, traumatizing me, and making me fear for my health. I have gotten no response from the hosts, and VRBo stated cleanliness of their hosts is not the concern or worry. Didn’t realize a business meant for hospitality could care less about being hospitable. They took my time, money, and peace of mind. DO NOT STAY
