Cute cabin!

The listing is very accurate, this was a great cabin located close to everything you’d want to do in Hochatown. Our family of 4 and our two dogs stayed and it was perfect for us. We cooked a lot at the cabin and the kitchen was equipped with what we needed. The property is pretty and well kept. We had a great time!

Lovely Little Cabin

We booked this little cabin for our first Christmas trip. Overall our stay was wonderful. The owners were very accommodating, and had timely communication. We only had the 1 issue with the christmas tree that they resolved asap. The cabin was in need of a good deap clean and some of the children's games and a few toys need to be replaced due to missing/broken pieces but otherwise it was fully stocked with everything you could need. (None of this bothered us as our boys had their own things from home and played hid n seek) The beds, couch and chair were all soft/comfortable. And the neighborhood is quiet and secluded but still close to town. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again. I highly recommend this lovely little cabin.

Cozy Cabin

Cabin was cozy. The electric fire place got a lot of use. Like one of the previous reviews states, it’s small for 6 people and was dusty in some areas. The two lofted bedrooms have really low ceiling heights and the stairs were too steep for my dad to get up and down comfortably. There wasn’t enough silverware for us to eat a meal and a couple important items didn’t work (vacuum- we have a toddler and dishwasher didn’t seem to clean dishes). The outside was great for the kids and the hot tub was clean.

Great location and family friendly

This is a family friendly option with room to spread out outside. Advertised that it sleeps six, which it did, but indoor quarters were a bit tight for our family of 6-for example there aren’t 6 stools at the counter or a dining table inside, there were only 5 bath towels/5 hot tub towels. We appreciated all of the kitchen utensils and small appliances available-toaster, toaster oven, crock pot, can opener, ice cream scoop. The kid’s swingset and playhouse were a hit. Overall, the home was a bit dusty and the kitchen floor was greasy/sticky when we arrived. The hot tub seemed immaculately clean, however. If you need a pet-friendly, kid-friendly home for a smaller family this would be a fine choice.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was nice and located in a good central area to the lake, river, dining etc. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen where we spent most of our time. Would definitely rent again and recommend to others with a small group.

Very Accurate Listing

Very cute, clean cabin in Hochatown. Close to the state park and Hochatowns winery, brewery, etc. All supplies needed to cook meals were already there which was helpful. Wish the bed downstairs was a little comfier, as its probably an older mattress. Beds upstairs were great. Lindsey was great at communicating with us as well. Its an older cabin compared to all the new ones around BB, but still cozy, clean and affordable for a weekend away. Highly recommend.

Really neat little “compound” style cabin

Really really enjoyed the week my girlfriend and I spent here. The place was super clean and the amenities were nice. Loved the string lights outside and having the hot tub sheltered. Plenty of games and movies for entertainment. Only knock I’d give is not having a propane grill but charcoal works just fine!

Management and owner were amazing!

The entire county lost power for several hours on our first night. Both the owner and property manager kept us updated based on power company updates! once power came back, the both contacted us to insure we were up and going again! It was an amazing experience and by no fault of their own, but they stayed on top of updates! The place was beautiful and cozy! The grandkids loved it! We will be back!

Cabin was clean and well stocked. Hot tub was very clean and nice. The only draw back was only 1 bathroom. The bedrooms were very small.

Best Xmas Ever

Great fun, good food that was easy to cook in a well stocked kitchen . I loved the huge fridge! Outdoor hiking and hot tub fun was had by all! The AC came in handy for the Warner nights. I have no complaints. I recommend The Moonshiners Lodge to everyone! We were right down from the state park so that was an unexpected joy. Best Xmas ever!

Wedding Memories

This cabin was rustic and cute. I missed that it didn’t have central heat and air but had window units. It was almost 80 degrees when we arrived to the cabin so it was quite warm inside. After everything cooled off, it was good!

Family vacation

Very nice property close to anything you might want to do around Hochatown. We had 4 adults on our trip. Sleeping arrangements comfortable for 6. Great outdoor space that would be great for kids too. Property owner was very responsive to a minor issue we had during our stay. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking necessities.

Annual cabin trip

Every year we go to a cabin in broken bow for my nieces birthday and this cabin has by far been the most kid friendly cabin. There was so much stuff for them to do which made it a relaxing time for us adults. The manager Scotty was great as well as Linsey too. We will be back!!!
