Dem Hotel scheint es sehr wichtig zu sein kein Roomservice durchzuführen. Wir wurden sofort beim Check In darauf hingewiesen, dass wir eine Karte einen Abend vorher anbringen müssen. Obwohl wir die Karte angebracht hatten, erfolgte kein Roomservice. Erst auf mehrfachen Nachfragen wurde nach 17:00 Uhr der Roomservice durchgeführt. Von einem Hotel dieser Kategorie haben wir dies nicht erwartet. Das Procedere wiederholte sich auch am zweiten Tag.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen und die Umgebung war ruhig. Die Mitarbeiterin, wirkte bei unserer Ankunft etwas überfordert, war aber trotzdem sehr freundlich. Einzig zu bemängeln war, dass die Garage voll war und wir dort nicht mehr parken konnten. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich mit Blick auf den Hafen.

Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und vor allem im Bad ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Dreckränder und Haare von Vorbewohnern im Bad, eine nicht nur einen Tag alte Lage Staub auf Fernseher und Lampen im Zimmer. Eine fähige Zimmerdame hätte diese Stellen mit Sicherheit im Blick. Da man von dem Zimmerpersonal aber nicht mal angeschaut, sondern eher mit dem Wagen aus dem Weg gedrängelt wird, wundert mich dieses nicht. Morgens um 3:15 lautes Geklapper von zugeschmissenen Schranktüren aus dem gegenüberliegenden Serviceraum. Servicepersonal nicht als solches zu erkennen; eine Dame stand mit übergeworfener Kapuze eines komplett schwarzen Hoodie im Flur, nur daran zu erkennen, dass sie gerade am Servicewagen lehnte. Die tägliche Zimmerreinigung wurde auch wohl "aus Versehen" vergessen... Internet teilweise nicht zu gebrauchen, da Hotspots wohl nur vereinzelt aufgehängt. Frühstücks- und Rezeptionspersonal waren das glatte Gegenteil. Zuvorkommend und freundlich, passend zum Hotel mit 4 Sternen.

Cruise Port town with more to offer

The Liberty Hotel had a nice breakfast bar and was in a great location There are NO freebies my friends, don't touch the water aso. Some guest service personnel are friendly and an asset to the service industry, others are defensive and almost rude. That being said they likely had to deal with loads of grumpy customers who come through in great numbers because this is a cruise port town. Yes my friends it gets extremely busy for just a couple of days almost every week.
