We had a great stay at the Green Turtle and it was everything we expected. Being our first time in Boston, the location was excellent with easy access to the ferry to take us to the North End where we enjoyed historic sites and some great restaurants. There is a convenience store with breakfast sandwiches as well as a little cafe walking distance from the Green Turtle along with a nice lunch or dinner spot on the waterfront. There is also a free shuttle that took us to the train station where we hopped on to Fenway Park for a ballgame. After long days of exploring we enjoyed sitting on the dock watching the boats go by. Our hosts Jon and Karen were so accommodating and even went out of their way to find me gluten free muffins (delicious)!

Hôte très accueillant. Lieu très original, calme et cosy. Petits déjeuners suffisamment copieux. Pratique de prendre le ferry à 5 mn pour aller au centre ville, mais attention ils s'arrêtent tôt le week-end. La ligne de bus est à 10 mn à pied. Vue grandiose sur la skyline de Boston ! On a tout adoré.

This was a lovely place to stay. It was easy to get a Uber and go downtown. Sherry who met us at the property full of information. It was perfect for us. What a lovely evening sitting out in front on the dock looking at the moon enjoying each other's company.

Had a wonderful time and staying in the harbor was a great way to see Boston and surrounding area.Parking was easy, house boat was fabulous, owners were easy to deal with, and property manager gave us some great tips! Overall.... 10 out of 10!

This is a unique setting from which to explore Boston, based in a marina in a peaceful area. There are easy links to the main sites in Boston, using ferry, free bus and taxis. There is a well stocked and recently opened general store nearby. Everything was well managed for us, with breakfast and linen changes provided ( we were visiting for two weeks), and arrival arrangements were straightforward. Jon provided advice on local restaurants, many within walkable distance, and Sherrie was available on site and via text. We were well looked after!

Brittany came to let us in and show us around. She was a wealth of information on how to get around (the free shuttle is a block away). And where to eat and how to get to various sights. Her input turned out to be invaluable. The two unit houseboat is rustic and charming. We found it to be comfortable and it came with three days worth of pastries, so there’s that.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It was probably the best vacation we’ve taken thank you so much for opening your place to us. I would say the only issue is if there’s ever water problems, but besides the shower issue, we enjoyed every moment of the time we were there.
