I stay there a lot, so I am biased. The rooms are very comfortable, and it is quiet, and the breakfast is filling, if not as nice as it used to be. Super convenient for MIT or Boston.

This hotel is clearly for those who will enjoy staying in an older, renovated property. The rooms are a bit small, but the hotel’s charm and location more than makes up for it. The location is just steps from the Kendall Square T stop (Red Line), which gets you to Harvard or downtown Boston in no time at all. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the overall hotel is just a lovely brick structure. The MIT museum and MIT press bookstore are next door. The only downsides to this hotel are: 1) the breakfast, though free, is pretty much the same every day. If it’s not your kind of food, you probably won’t enjoy it 2) There are quite a few restaurants nearby, but much of the surrounding area is office complexes and late night food options are scarce

Fantastic hotel!

Excellent accommodations! Staff is very friendly & accomodating. Room was immaculate. Breakfast was hot, well-stocked, etc. The only “complaint” & it is a minor one, is the water pressure in the shower was poor. I will definitely stay at the Kendall again!

Very friendly staff, offered a few nearby dining choices for when we arrived. One was busy but ended up at The Luna Cafe which had excellent brunch choices, fast friendly service there too. Easter Sunday we had the breakfast at the hotel, so much to choose from. Great coffee and think it was fresh squeezed orange juice with pulp. Will definitely go back again.

Great location in MIT campus. Retro interior and exterior decoration, family suite is the best choice for traveling with children. Free breakfast is a plus, but it would be better to change the content of breakfast every day. Like this hotel
