Magical Stay for 60th birthday getaway

We had such an amazing time in Bolinas at the Mushroom House. So inviting and relaxing with a view of the ocean from the deck upstairs!Keep in mind that to go to the living room it is 2 flights up a spiral staircase... the heavy cooler was a bit of a challenge, but SOOOOO worth it!Beds were comfy Sauna and outdoor shower were awesome. And best location we have rented on either Mesa.... We will come back!

Magical Oasis

Amazing, architecturally unique home in an amazing community. We felt right at home and relaxed the moment we stepped inside (ok, maybe after a few awestruck moments of how cool the place is). Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked should you choose to cook and eat there, and really neat outdoor spaces to enjoy the view or the garden.This feels like a vacation home for guests rather than a vacation rental. Truly an amazing experience.

Iconic house

My young adult children and their cousins stayed here for a few days. It’s an iconic handmade house. If you get the chance to stay, I highly recommend it. The layout is funky and fun and it’s in a wonderful location.

Very enjoyable!

This home worked well for our group of 5 adult family members. The setting was great and nearby our relatives. We had the complete Bolinas experience. The views were awesome. The hosts were helpful and communicating with our needs.

Enchanting

This home is my all time favorite rental. Its a one of a kind, gem of a structure. We will treasure the memories we made here. The view is stunning. Absolutely perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about this house.

A perfect mushroom

This house has everything: nice rooms, great views, mushroom decor, open kitchen. It’s basically perfect. We stayed here as three friends enjoying a quiet weekend together and it was heaven. Can’t wait to come back!

One Of A Kind Hideaway

The Mushroom House was so unusual but very cozy, plenty of room for sitting & playing games in the evening. An outstanding view of the ocean. There was really everything we needed & it was a leisurely walk to the beach & to town. A very relaxing weekend.

Charming honeymoon in the Bolinas mushroom house

My partner and I had a day and a half after our marriage to share a memorable honeymoon experience. This unique stay in Bolinas drew our attention, and we had a great time discovering the house, seeing all the stars in the West Marin sky, running into quail, rabbits and waterfowl. David and Brody were great hosts, providing us all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. Could easily have spent a few more happy days here if we only had the time :-)

Restorative

Too short but so nourishing. Easy walk to town. Hikinh lot was being redone so went to point Reyes. Limantour beach and the coast trail was perfect. Bear valley visitors center was great. Arrival day went to Stinson beach for long walk before checkin. Parkside is a great cafe Would stay again but plan to cook in. Loved the impromptu get away. Will do agsin as felt like a relaxing time away while home was only 44 miles. So back into regular pace and routines was fast.

Amazing house, incredible location

The mushroom house is magical — it was a first visit to Bolinas for some in our group, and it felt like we experienced the best of it! The views are incredible, the walk to the beach is lovely, and the main living space is cozy and welcoming. David and Brady were great communicators. We would love to come back!
