We love this cabin! We love the view of the river from the living room and kitchen. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you can think of. The beds were super comfortable too. We will be back!

This was a great place to stay in Mckenzie Bridge - so close to the water and so peaceful. We had some good weather in time for a bike ride along the Mckenzie and then a big strom hit, which was okay because we were nice and cozy inside by the wood stove. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to stay again. Thanks!

The home was very cozy and comfortable. The hosts thought of several things you might need and had them available. The river was beautiful and the sound of the river was peaceful! It was close enough to take day trips and see beautiful sites and then come back and relax. We loved it.

We had a wonderful time at this property. What a gem of a location - so private and quiet. The sound of the river going by is lovely. What a well stocked and comfortable home. Everything you could possibly need. We liked hanging around on the deck or the living room with the huge sliding glass door wide open. We didn't have a dog with us as our beloved senior dog had recently passed, but this cabin is very dog friendly. I accidently left my small diamond earrings in the bedroom and didn't realize it until we got home. I contacted Mike and he immediately responded back to tell me he forwarded my request to have the earrings mailed back to me to the person who cleans the home. Within a few days I got them back. That was so nice of them as it was my mistake! Wonderful hosts!

We loved everything about this location (private and quiet), the cabin (very welcoming and homey!) and the view of the river was beyond what I imagined! We made a little friend, "Sam the Slug". The weather and local restaurants were fantastic. This was our first visit to this area for a vacation and it did not disappoint. All the local residents were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and visit! We will certainly be back! Thank you!

Yes, a go back to place. Relaxing, the river rush was relaxing, so pretty and we felt secluded and safe. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed to make simple meals. Restaurants not far, but it was best to stay in place. the awnings helped with extra afternoon sun. Evenings and mornings very cool. This is a dog friendly place and that helped so much.thanks Mike

The cabin is wonderfully located and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and furniture and nicely equipped kitchen. The power shades for the skylights and deck awning were a plus in the afternoon. It was delightful to sit on the deck and watch the rafters float by. The cabin is located within great striking distance to attractions in the Cascades. The only minus was that the air conditioner couldn't cope with the temps in the 90's, and afternoons/early evenings were stuffy at times. A box fan helped with air circulation.Since there was a heat wave during our stay, this drawback doesn't affect our evaluation or recommendation. We highly recommend the River's Edge

Wonderful stay!!

Amazing secluded location on the river! Loved the skylights that brightened the living space. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved watching rafters and kayakers going by and going on walks with our dog in the area. Highly recommend!

Play land

The river cabin was clean, full of light and had all the necessary amenities. The deck and sound of the river was a huge bonus, as was the quiet neighborhood where we rode bikes to the general store and could easily access MTB trails, hikes and hot springs.

Amazing getaway with a beautiful view

Amazing! This little nest by the river was the cozy getaway we needed. The house was easy to find (thank you for the windmill landmark!), check-in was seamless, and everything was clean and well-stocked for a home-away-from-home experience. I absolutely loved the kitchen and appreciated having all the necessary cleaning supplies. The house had everything we needed—whether for a meal on the deck, a cozy indoor retreat on a rainy day, or a fully equipped kitchen to cook delicious meals. Waking up to the stunning view of the roaring river made the stay even more special.
