If you’re looking for a quiet stay in the mountains this is your place. We never heard another person and only occasionally saw someone walking on the main road. Speaking of roads. It was an awesome road going up the mountain. Many twists and turns and totally wooded. We saw deer on almost every trip to Blue Ridge which is only 2 minutes away once you get down the mountain. The cabin was awesome and was sitting off by itself with tons of shaded area on the decks. Hot tub was in a screened in area so no worrying about bugs and the deck outside the bedrooms was screened as well. We left the doors leading to it open all night. If you want to grill some steaks go to Carlisle’s meat market. Their bone in ribeyes will melt in your mouth. If you’re not familiar with the area blue ridge is packed with high quality restaurants. Make sure you take a trip to Helen GA via the Russell scenic byway. The views are amazing. We go to this area almost every year and this will be where we stay from now on. Best Host we’ve ever had and answered our questions via text almost immediately.
