Spacious House

Spacious kitchen, dining, living room, nice deck in front with 6 person table. Refrigerator needs repair or replacement. With afternoon temperatures in the 90's it would have been nice to have air conditioning. The late evenings and early mornings were fine.

Amazing location for our golf weekend!

We had an amazing stay at the treehouse for our long golf weekend. Big beds, kitchen had all the cookware/glassware we needed, great front porch to drink coffee and get some sun. Great location near the town and close to the Plumas Pines clubhouse. Can’t wait to book again thanks for having us!

Great family stay at the Treehouse

Treehouse Treasure!

Another amazing stay at the Treehouse! This hidden gem nestled in the heart of the beautiful Lost Sierras always delivers the most memorable family vacations. From being greeted upon our arrival by a flock of friendly wild turkeys to watching the snow peacefully fall from the large picture windows by the cozy hearth, this captivating place truly has it all. The only disappointing part was having to leave this winter haven and go back to reality. Thank you, Garret, for sharing your amazing home with us!

Great home for a family reunion

We rented the home to invite local family members over for Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room to prepare multiple dishes in the kitchen, and set up an extra table next to their dining table. We played games and enjoyed the views from the large windows that overlook the pine trees. This was a convenient spot for our relatives in Portola and the surrounding towns to come and visit. All three bedrooms were very comfortable and seemed to be almost soundproof. That was a nice Soundsystem, and fun games like horseshoes to play outside. The little ones enjoyed the play area in the backyard. We went walking around Plumas Pines every day. The entire home was nicely decorated and very clean.

Stayed twice for a good reason

We chose to stay in this home this year after having a great experience last year. The home is spacious, open, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Great communication with the owner. Lasy year it was unusually hot and we were pretty warm, even though there is a ceiling fan in every room. I mentioned this to Garrett and he provided standing fans for each bedroom. It really helped and was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. We love the area and got to see some wildlife in our yard and across the road on the beautiful golf course!

Weekend get away

We had an amazing weekend at the tree house. The house had everything we needed to be able to spend quality time as a family. We did puzzles, played games, took a nice walk and enjoyed the mountains. We will definitely be back.

Great place to stay

We’ve stayed at this home two years in a row with another family. We all love it, it’s comfortable for two families with children. Great location near State Park for sledding, nice neighborhood to walk around, and located near to town for last minute needs at the General Market. We hope to return next year.

Tree house fun for family

We loved our time at the tree house. The ramp up to the front door was especially helpful for our father, who uses a walker. The patios were great - we loved grilling outside! And the master bedroom/bath are beautiful! Wish the mattresses in the double room were more comfortable. Also, a corkscrew would be helpful.

Perfect house for family and friends

The Tree House is just perfect.... we rented the house for a week to help prepare and celebrate our daughters wedding. She was married in the area and we needed a home base. This house was perfect. Because it is also dog friendly our daughters golden retriever had a place to hang as we did wedding prep. Garrett was terrific , checking in to assure all was good...... we would come again in a heart beat!

Large kitchen, spacious dining area, living area and bedrooms Especially enjoyed the outdoor table in front for evening dinners Coffeemaker didn’t work, disappointing. Very nice, spacious home.

The bedrooms were big with very comfortable beds. Lot of open living, dining and kitchen space. Hand soap, shampoo & conditioners, dish soap and snacks were nice extra touches. There were 2 things that we wish could have been better. The fire pit/chimena that was advertised, was removed due to the high fire danger. It just would have been nice to know, although it was obviously out of the owners control. Under usual circumstances not having A/C would have been okay. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms, except the kitchen and dining room. However, the weather has been getting hotter the last 2 years and it wasn't possible to keep the house cool after midmorning. Even opening the windows over night and shutting them during the day. With 4 big windows on the front of the house, with beautiful views of trees and deer and the golf course, it was sad to have the blinds shut all day. I think adding some floor fans would help a lot. Overall, would definitely recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Beautiful Tree House

This house was very clean and up to date with decor and style. It had all the comforts of home with everything provided for whatever was needed, even little bottles of shampoo and conditioner! Thank you for foam hand soap and lot's of tissue boxes:) My son got married at The Corner Barn and the house was very close to the venue which made it nice. The morning bonus was sitting out on the front deck sipping coffee and watching the golfers. Wonderful home...we'd rent here again. Thank you Garrett for making it easy from booking to checking-in to checking-out!
