The place stank of marijuana and cigarettes, the room was super dirty, the bathroom was full of urine, and when I went to the front desk to ask for assistance to even clean the bathroom, there was no one to help me.

Our first room wasn’t even cleaned and bed wasn’t made before we got there. But they guy at the desk was really nice and gave us a clean room without any problems.

Not as advertised, not worth the price

The property claims to offer rollaway beds, and the room was supposed to sleep 5. The front desk staff stated that the hotel has not offered rollaway beds in years. We had to have one of our children sleep on the floor, since there was not a sofa bed, either. I would not have booked this room if it were not for the false advertising. The hot food breakfast was overcooked eggs (despite a form where you specify how you want them cooked), cold bacon, and lukewarm hashbrowns. I would have preferred a buffet style with food kept warm in chafing pans. The whole hotel is rundown, dark and dingy. Our room had a hole in the wall for the cable box with exposed wires just tucked inside, without a panel. The walls had flaking and missing paint, the bathroom appliances were stained, and the tub had hair in it and did not drain properly. We also could not get the WiFi to work. The staff were very friendly, and the beds were comfortable, but otherwise this was an extremely disappointing experience, more along the lines of an old motel than a mid-range hote.

I would not go back to this hotel if you paid me. If you can go anywhere else in Bismarck, do it! Terrible service. Room I booked on Expedia didn't match what I got, but refused to give me any accusations. Manager was downright disrespectful and rude when confronted. Told me if the room wasn't what I wanted that it was early enough in the day to find something else but would not issue a refund, despite the room not being at all what I selected. Run down hotel. Dresser was missing a drawer, closet door was off its tracks and just leaning there, hair all over in the shower, banged up walls, stained carpet. Dimly light and creepy hallways and pool (which the water was dirty and cloudy) was cold and over treated with way too much chlorine. I travel with my family a lot and I can not stress enough to go elsewhere. There a lot better places in Bismarck that won't bait and switch you and then treat you like just another dollar bill. These people don't want you to enjoy your stay, they just want your money.

We checked in, went for supper and then checked out. The hotel had good reviews and a high rating but was very far from those good ratings. The front desk needs an update and looked dirty. The hallway was dirty, the walls were scuffed. The room was dark. The walls were messy patched stucco and screw holes where the air conditioner had been. There was dried blood on the pillow. The smell made both of us instantly feel sick. Hoping Expedia can help us get a refund. Checked into another hotel immediately. Not a great way to start a trip.

Cheap, and for good reason.

Check in was very very casual. 1st room was rejected by a lady who returned key in front of me. When asked why it was, he didn’t know or are to even ask her. 2nd room, had door hinges broken and I had to lift the door to close it in the frame. Wardrobe had a fist hole in the door that was off the track. Bathroom looked like it had new towels, but had not been cleaned. Carpet had a bad smell. Air conditioner was a window mounted unit that made the worst noise. Bed was ok but noise from a/c saw me awake at 3:30am and not able to get back to sleep. Will not be returning.

Room was noisy. Carpet was dirty, almost 'sticky' to the touch. Top drawer of the entertainment center was broken, the broken front of the drawer was left leaning against the wall as you enter the room. There was a hole in the wall above the 'desk' with capped wires exposed. The bed looked like it was sat on, so i double checked the sheets, and they were clean, but not put on the bed very neatly or tightly, so i remade the bed. We had stayed at this property before, so a bit disappointed in how our room was. Oh, also i could not connect to the wi-fi.

The property deserves a 4 for the price. The check-in seemed to be a disappointment for not only me, but also the people before me and others I passed in the lobby in the check in process. The hotel wants you to use a keyless entry, but because I was "old" gave me a key card. However, twice I had to go to the front desk to get the card re-activated during my 7 night stay. To get the tv to work, it required changing it to HDMI1 (vs tv). But then it worked well. The freezer in the refrigerator was iced over to the point where the door would not close - I let the front desk know when I checked out, so hopefully it was defrosted before the next people. The hot breakfast was nice - but there are minimal options if you want the earlier cold breakfast - we had yogurt the first couple of days, but not Thurs, Fri, or Sat. Assumed delivery comes early in week. There was a plug for the tub, but the shower was a drizzle (please note, I have rarely had a decent shower at a hotel, so my expectations may be high). I was told when I asked that the washer was broken (only 1 in bldg). However, it was repaired that day and I was able to run a large load of laundry when I needed to. The furnishings in the room (chairs and beds) were not bad. There were plenty of pillows. All that said, I would return for the price and location.

This place was absolutely filthy. When we pulled into the parking lot, the woman working the evening shift was outside the front door smoking. When we went in, she never greeted us u til we said hello, but it was clear that we interrupted her smoke break. When we got to the first room, it had a terrible stench and then noticed that the tub was inundated with black mold and a huge wad of hair in the drain. We went back downstairs and asked for another room, and that one was even worse….same stench, and even more mold. Went back downstairs to ask for a refund, only to find the desk clerk outside smoking again. She said she would okay the refund if the third party entity would agree to it.
