It was more than Excellent

Words cannot express how much this place made our week. The experience in overall was wonderful. Julie and Alex are very responsive and were there for us. We will definitely comeback to them whenever we need a gateway. Wonderful!

Quiet getaway

We were visiting relatives close by and this was a perfect location. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to major roads. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Nice having washer/dryer. Detailed instructions were sent for arrival and departure procedures. Occasional noises and cooking odors from upstairs guests but that was to be expected.. we will be visiting this place again.

Exceptional Property

My recent stay at The Nest, booked through Vrbo, was nothing short of exceptional. The property was not only beautiful & immaculately clean, but the attention to detail truly set it apart. Every need was anticipated, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfortable and well-appointed furnishings. The location was wonderfully quiet, providing a peaceful retreat for my husband and I. It was the meticulous attention to every small detail and special touches that made our stay so memorable. The Nest felt like a home away from home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a flawless getaway.

The Nest

This place is so wonderful. It was clean, cozy and we were welcomed with a sweet customized note, nice touch. It was beautifully decorated and it really does have a zen vibe. They provided toletries, dishes, linens and even laundry supplies! We will definitely be booking this one the next time we travel to Birmingham. We absolutely recommend The Nest to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway. We recommend Metro Diner and GianMarcos for food.

Short Apartment Search Trip

The property was great. The only minor complaint would be a subtle (pet?) smell in the main living/dining area. The space was fantastic and cozy. Very nice mattress and shower as well. Check in/out process was smooth. Overall highly recommend staying here!

I did not want to leave!

I’m not going to be long winded. If you are looking at this gorgeous space wondering if it as it appears on line… the answer is it better. It’s clean comfortable and inviting. I didn’t get to sit out in the garden patio and that I regret. The nest is an appropriate name because you feel like you are tucked away among the trees.I was earlier than expected and I was allow to check in an hour early. Thank you Julie!!!

lovely place. only issue was the A/C was controlled remotely so we did’nt achieve the coolness level we are used to. The bed sunk down in the middle with 2-adults sleeping on it.

A very pleasant experience

The "Nest" is a delightful haven for recuperating at the end of each day during a work-related trip. I stayed for seven days. It is just as appears in the listing: very clean, with a tasteful modern decor, and located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. The private, fenced patio space surrounded by tall trees is another feature I appreciated. I had a couple of questions during the stay and Julie responded literally within minutes. I highly recommend the "Nest". Thank you Julie!

Great Stay

The space is huge and very well done. Other than a bit of noise from upstairs guests (which we expected), it was very private, comfortable, and had everything we could have needed. We came down for the Indy Car weekend at the Barber Motorpsports Park, and location-wise, it was ideally situated between downtown Birmingham, and the track. We were surprised at what a 'foodie' town Birmingham is. We'll be back for sure.

Cozy and clean!

We walked in and instantly felt comfortable and peaceful. It looked like a fancy hotel suite. It was lovely and quiet. The bed was super comfy too. Julie and Alex were quick to respond and great hosts.
