This hotel has to be one of the best examples of price/performance that I have stayed in in Germany. The staff was awesome, the breakfast buffet was the best I have had in a while, the price point of the rooms was great. Also the location to the Wittenberg Platz UBahn, directly next to KaDeWe and the Kufürstendam, and 10-15 minutes to the Aquarium and Zoo makes the Mercure unbeatable in my eyes. Thank you to everyone there!

the good: the room was great, had a view of the square; the breakfast; and almost all the staff (Stephanie, Nadine, & Marko) the bad: Mohit at the front desk. I have stayed in over a hundred hotels and he is the rudest staff member I have ever encountered. By far. When i walked up with my luggage he said "There are no rooms available". A bizarre thing to say. It was downhill from there. He was rude every time we spoke, and I was always pleasant. I was on vacation. That is not someone who should be the face of the hotel.
