The hotel is located within a multistory building. It’s on the 4th floor. The water never got hot nor warm. Our slider to the balcony had a broken lock, we could not secure the slider. One of the towels was still wet. There was this constant noise the tv was making with a huge flash while sleeping. The front makeshift reception had drinks available for purchase, the staff were very polite and nice. They assisted with cab driver. Also the floors are a bit slippery and the hallways echo very much occasionally hearing a loud bang from other doors. The restaurant they have on their pictures had recent poor reviews so we didn’t bother trying. Also the birds there are shockingly loud but not the hotels fault, just nature. Also the water bottles seemed to have a very loose seal that were provided in the room.

The hotel is VERY clean, the staff were beyond polite and helpful, the rooms are quite spacious. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Booked a night here before heading out to the island, and I’m really glad I chose here. The bed was incredibly comfortable and just what I needed after a long day of travel! It was a quick taxi ride from the airport and wasn’t too far to get to the ferry/water taxi either. The staff were very lovely and super helpful. The restaurant downstairs is very convenient too!

The room was spotless! The hotel staff were so kind and gracious every day. The young lady at the front desk, Andine, made us feel at home immediately. The view from the balcony was lovely. We were there from Sunday, December 21-Saturday December 27th. The hotel has a casino next door on the ground floor while the hotel rooms are on the 4th floor. The casino noises never bothered us and could not be heard on the 4th floor. The Ramada across the street was extremely noisy on our last night there (Friday) but that’s to be expected on a weekend I guess. I doubt we will go back to Belize because we are getting older and have so many other countries to visit! It was the trip of a lifetime for us and we would recommend the Pickwick Parkview Hotel mostly because of the fantastic staff, Andine and the wonderful (I think her name was Claudette) housekeeper. Spotless. The floors looked like glass!

The warmth, care and courtesies extend by Andean Gillett (the front desk) and Karely Yam (the Manager) went above and beyond. They made the stay relaxing and fun. They arranged a special birthday surprise treat at the Biltmore hotel for me. They recommended places to visits and things to do, they ensured we were settled and all our needs were met. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Andean and Karely made our stay in Belize exceptional. We are truly grateful!

After checking in we were forgotten. We did not get clean towels until our 3rd day even though I asked the manager for some on the second day. Our room was only cleaned once, the day before we left. We had coffee supplies for only two days on the fourth day they restocked but left no coffee filters. We had an ice bucket but no ice machine. There was a ironing board but no iron. There was a closet but no hangers. The staff is not available 24 hours they go home at 5pm and were never in office before we left for our tours at 7:30 am. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken, the shower faucet was broken, and the shelf under the sink was covered by a loose board that fell out. The restaurant only took cash. There was only 1 chair for 2 people and a very wobbly table. The manager did make several calls for us confirming tours and transportation. And the office helper was very nice at check-in. When I politely asked the housekeeper for a couple of fresh towels on the 3rd day, I recived a dirty look before she grudgingly provided them. I softly commented we hadn't had clean towels for 3 days, she made me feel like I had to justify my request. Then all of sudden the next day our room was cleaned. I would not recommend this property.

The size of the room was unexpected. I think I could have held an entire Cotillion ball in there. Bed was fantastic and comfortable and I appreciated having coffee in the room. Being able to watch the storm approach across the water from my balcony was something I'll never forget . As a first-timer to Belize I had no idea that all of the amenities at the hotel, including the coffee shop, only took cash. Either USD or Belizean dollars. Of course I had neither on me and the ATM that they've directed me to was 3 miles away. Only to find out later from the airport that the casino on the ground floor of the building has an ATM. I know that the hotel and the casino are not related business Adventures, however it would have been nice to either be told ahead of time or to know that there is a ATM machine quite close. I really appreciated that they organized a shuttle bus to another restaurant and the shuttle bus home again.

Loved the clean, large room with a view of the park and the sea. Front office and security staff were so friendly and helpful! Convient location - able to walk downtown, to museums and to the water taxi station. Several sit down restaurants in the area as well as a wonderful array of local food huts in the park with absolutely delicious and authentic and diverse food choices.
Attached Ochuna restaurant and Cafe. Great food!!

Family of 6 rented 3 rooms for our first night in Belize. A little hard to find (it’s above the casino just FYI) but once we found it we were very happy with the comfort, size and cleanliness of the rooms. Complimentary coffee and water was available and the dinner downstairs was delicious. The dinner took a bit but try to remember we are suppose to be chilling on vacation.
