Disappointing stay

Very disappointing. The hotel was under construction. And worse was that when I was ready for my morning shower the next morning the shower floor had lots of black mold all along the edge and shower entrance The shower was not cleaned at all. The only positive was the hotels location

The front desk girl was completely awesome, but there was an issue with my room that we discovered on the last day that was completely disturbing. I reported this and I haven’t heard from anybody.

For the amount that is charged, you would think accommodations would be better. There is no restaurant on the property. Vouchers are given for restaurants. The room cleanliness was not the best. The bathroom robe provided was dirty. A replacement was not given, even I was told they would. The exhaust/light fixture I the bathroom was extremely dusty. You could see it had not been cleaned in months. I was told it would be taken care of, never was. Water bottles not provided in the room for coffee. Local TV channels were only provided ; no premium channels included. You need a step stool to get onto the bed; it was very high and very squeaky. They looked for a step stool but could find an extra one, so I had to jump onto the bed every night. I’m a senior citizen and that didn’t go well with me. So, over all, not what I expected.

Be aware that there is a daily "inn fee"

I think it is disingenuous that there is a daily "inn fee" that you will be forced to pay upon your arrival at the inn. For us, this fee was $16.65 per day. It may be more when you arrive. The Beaufort Inn needs to stop charging this non-negotiable fee and include it in the listed price.

One star

Requested handicap and ended up walking a long trail and up five stairs plus another step. No handicap parking. I paid for handicap accessible. The “kitchen” is in the bathroom….fridge next to toilet/sink/shower. No noise barriers. No housekeeping services. No parking slips for meters. This photo of the pink building is only the office. That’s not where you stay.

Nice historic property

We were greeted by Patricia and she was both welcoming and knowledgeable about the historic property. We had some cleanliness issues and Patricia moved us to a new room. We had to overlook some cleanliness issues with the bathtub in the second room and only used the shower. Housekeeping has such an important role and they need to better understand the impact they have on guests.

Loved the location of this property and how convenient it was to everything! We stayed at the Greyhound Flats. The size was large and nice for a larger family. However it needs some updates. Some of the lights didn’t work, the door was hard to open and didn’t feel secure, they need a fan in the bathroom and the worst part is where you have to park for this unit. Owners should negotiate 2 spots in the adjacent lot for those staying in Greyhound Flats.
