Amazing Lakeside Retreat

Our family stayed here 5 days and loved every minute of it. Between the lake access, available boats/kayaks/paddle board, to the super fun game room this place had everything our family was looking for. The host was also super responsive and very pleasant. Our family cannot say enough great things about this space!

Fun times with family

The house was just as advertised but the pull out beds required some adjustment for adults versus children. Was 14 of us one person opted to sleep on the couch but they were it was comfortable and not necessary to pull out into the open bed. The great number of good games and entertainment available Made it easy for the young people and seems to have fun. We all enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. Our children took the grandchildren and themselves across to the larger lake for water skiing and tubing. The only inconvenience I can think of was the fact that it’s a good 30 minutes just to get to a place to shop. For groceries. Overall I would say this was a very good experience.

Fantastic property

Our family loved our stay at Lazy Loons. The house is fantastic - great kitchen for cooking. Our kids loved the game room. And the lawn going down to the pond is an ideal set up to enjoy outdoor games and swimming. We spend several lazy afternoons swimming, boating and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Fantastic family stay

This house was incredible decorated and extremely comfortable. The water toys, game room and lake front yard was more then we could have imagined. The host was incredible. Always available. We are already planning a return visit for next year. Made days with our kids and grandkids that we never want to forget.

Adventure and Tranquility

This place was a fantastic stay! Plenty of beds for the 10 folks that joined for the weekend. The house was clean and the layout was perfect. Several of us used the kayaks, paddleboards, and aquapad - all maintained well. The only issue we had is the abundance of mosquitos - we couldn't go outside once the sun was down because they covered the doors.

Family time in an amazing home

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at the “Lazy Loons Landings“house. The location right on the lake was amazing and we used the provided boats almost everyday. The open concept of the kitchen, dining and family rooms was just what we needed to be together and still accomplish individual and group projects. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We just recommend reading the welcome binder because the showers can be a little confusing! 😂 We wish we could have taken advantage of the outside amenities more but unfortunately it rained so heavily at the beginning of our stay that the lawn was very muddy the entire week. The little touches of surprises left by the owners were thoughtful. Overall we had an amazing time and would recommend this house to others. Two thumbs 👍👍up for this house!

Annual family getaway

Very nice house that met all our needs. Very clean and the game room was a big hit! Beds were very comfortable. Pretty spot on the lake but we had 2days of rain so only used the canoe and pedal boat once. We thought we’d be closer to Lake Winne……but it took us about 30 minutes to get there. Stores were also a 20 min drive. Enjoyed Wolfeboro and seeing Meredith.

Wonderful!

Fun for the entire family. We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate! We appreciated the thought that went into every aspect of hosting us. Favorite activities included s’mores at the fire pit each night, the game room, and the kayaks and canoe! There was even the most thoughtful welcome basket imaginable. Relaxing lake house

The house was very clean and there was plenty to entertain the adults and kids. We hiked, swam, roasted marshmallows over the fire, used the paddle board, and kayaks. The owners are extremely responsive and communicative.

Very nice property with many amenities

Overall we were very pleased with our rental. Thank you for the care you have taken to make our stay enjoyable. We offer a few suggestions that would make it even better for next time. The house is clean and nicely refurbished and decorated. It has many fun activities, both inside and out. Air hockey and pool were favorites indoors. The kayaks and lily pad were favorites outdoors. There were many thoughtful touches to make our stay easier, including bottled water, snacks, and personal care products and paper cups in the bathrooms. We were a little confused with how to operate the a/c and weren't sure if the remote changed all units with one touch or if we needed to go room to room with it and change each one. The kitchen was nicely appointed with most things needed for cooking and eating. Two things did pose a challenge: The toaster smoked so much we were afraid the detector would go off. We tried to clean out the crumbs, but it didn't help. The manual can opener wouldn't work and actually fell apart as we tried to use it, so we couldn't eat any of the canned goods we brought unless we went out to buy a new one. Although there is a dishwasher in place, a stopper for the kitchen sink and a dish rack would be a nice addition for quick cleanups. The bedrooms were set up nicely, although the mattresses were not as comfortable as we would like. In a least once case, the mattress had such a dip in the middle, two people would roll into the center. We had to fold up a blanket to put under the sheet to fill the center. The trundle beds were in the smallest rooms making it difficult to get in and out during the night. Outside there were plenty of seats of different types and we spent the majority of our days outside. The seats nearest the house, however, were constantly wet as there is no cover above to keep rain off and the chairs and their cushions cannot be tipped to drain off as they are chained to the floor. A drying rack and or clothesline would be a great addition for hanging beach towels etc. Thanks again. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this property.

Lots to do, great customer service!

We had a wonderful experience at this property. I am extremely picky about cleanliness and this met all of my expectations, which is not easy to do. Ha! The house is well stocked with towels, dishes, kitchen appliances (blender, 2 coffee makers, toaster, toaster oven etc.). And, well stocked with fun indoor & outdoor activities. Fun for everyone on a beautiful, clean, spacious property! The property manager was WONDERFUL! She answered all of our questions in a very timely manner. The only drawback was that the mattresses on the beds are not very comfortable. If they get new mattresses, this place would be perfect!

Young Family Vacation

This lake house was ideal for our 8 adult and three young children (3 and under). The house allowed for five cars and was immaculate when we arrived. The host provided several kayaks, a canoe, a paddle board and paddle boat and the life jackets that were like new. The game room had a high end pool table, air hockey and foosball tables and other games to while away the evenings. We had a beautifully maintained fenced in lake front backyard for outdoor games and a fire pit. Listening to the Loons was very relaxing. We would recommend this house for anyone looking for a fun family vacation. The host was very responsive but we really didn't need anything once checked in.
