Perfect relaxing stay for any event at the Merriweather pavilion. This studio was a dream location, quiet, peaceful, and so clean and tidy. The host was easy to communicate with and provided many recommendations for the area during our stay. The outdoor space was lovely and private- we spent most of our time relaxing there. very walkable and a 6 minute uber ride to all the nearby venues and restaurants. I would highly recommend this stay if you’re in Columbia.

Our stay was amazing! Our host Donna was the most helpful and friendliest host we have ever stayed with. The grounds were absolutely beautiful, just as pictured. We spent the evenings sitting on the patio enjoying the view of the lake! If ever back in Maryland we will definitely stay there again!

Location, Location, Location!

The absolute best location for attending any event at Merriweather. Staying here is also perfect for enjoying outdoor activities on the lake, or simply relaxing on the peaceful patio. We loved our time here. Our host Donna went above & beyond to ensure we were comfortable. We'd love to return.

Exceptional property within walking distance to many services

This exceptional property is well-deserving of the consistent 5-star reviews that it continues to receive by other renters. Comfort and convenience are key, we were especially impressed by the beautiful decor and layout that will certainly make you feel as if you had stepped into a luxurious hotel. The sunroom was easily our favorite living area, offering complete comfort and privacy with outstanding views of the lakefront that is literally a few steps from the studio entrance. The steps to the waterfront lead you to a private dock that stores a kayak for two, or as a comfortable perch to drop your legs into the water and take in the show provided by the local wildlife. We made a point to spend time each morning on the outdoor patio (weather permitting), or inside the sunroom with our coffee and light breakfast before heading out for our daily adventures, enjoying the peaceful serenity that this secluded property affords to each visitor in what feels like a heavily-wooded private park. Donna was an extremely gracious and helpful host, ensuring that we had every creature comfort we could possibly need during our stay, as well as providing many helpful tips regarding services that were within walking distance of the property and beyond. Well-appointed and maintained, there is no doubt that we will return to this property when our travels find us back in the Columbia area - Thank you so much, Donna!

Accommodating host!

Everything was as described. Donna was a gracious and welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed for our weekend trip. We enjoyed morning coffee while viewing the lake from the sun room. We took peaceful walks on the path around the lake. The property is conveniently located and within reasonable distance to Baltimore and Old Town Alexandria for day trips.

Premier Hostess Level!

This hostess is warm and efficient, so many extras! The rental is spotless, beautifully decorated, cozy elegance. The bed and pllows vomfortable, linens on higher end, bright, spotless white. The outdoor patio overlooking the clean lake is a "book now" to see it! We WILL be back. lake

Waterfront Columbia Studio

We loved our stay at the Waterfront Columbia Studio. The home was beautiful, with plenty of natural light. It also has a perfect view of the sunrise over the water. It was just a short distance from Baltimore and other tourist destinations, and it was within walking distance of several local attractions, restaurants, etc. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The bathroom was a bit small, but the other benefits of the property made up for that. Donna, the host, was very friendly, responsive, and helpful. She reached out several times to ensure that we were enjoying our stay and to ask if we needed anything.

Beautifully decorated condo in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We woke up to the gorgeous view of the lake (kayaks available). So many places to sit and read, take a nature walk or walk to close by amenities (coffee, mall, music venues). We enjoyed the quiet, the soft towels, the comfortable bed, and places to relax. The host was responsive, gracious and welcoming.

A Week in Columbia

I just spent a wonderful week in Columbia, Maryland at a perfect studio apartment. Waterfowl Terrace is right on Wilde Lake. It’s a beautiful, peaceful location and Donna is the ultimate hostess. I’m usually ready to go home after a week away but I could have easily stayed another week…or two. I highly recommend this location! I will be returning next year😊

Beautiful Quaint Studio

Highly recommend. Very relaxing stay - beautiful view of the lake and ability to go kayaking on the lake. Private and yet responsible, hospitable hosts. Great place for a quiet getaway!

Beautiful location in the heart of Columbia

I was in Columbia for a work week and find this location to be the most convenient for getting around the local area. This was a beautiful apartment on the lower level of the home that provided amazing views at Wilde Lake. Enjoyed the walk around the lake after work with my dog and just sitting out having a drink in the great atmosphere. Lots of nature to spot!

Perfect Retreat

This elegant, quiet and spacious studio sitting on a lake is the absolute perfect place for you to retreat, to rest your body and mind, and replenish your spirit. It's also a perfect space for a couple to be alone and rekindle intimacy. Everything in the studio is beautiful from the place mats to the glasses to the headboard over the luxurious, extremely comfortable king-size bed. The host Donna is wonderful. Plus the neighborhood and the trail around the lake makes walking a real pleasure. And if you want to go nowhere, just sit out on the little patio, and watch the gently flowing lake and all the ducks and geese gliding by. So calming, so healing. I plan to come here as often as I can.
