Everything we needed!

Year 3 on the island and we feel like we're becoming pros. It can be stressful with all the logistics re: packing, labeling, ferrying, traming, but once you experience it the first time and realize how lovely and organized everyone is, you get to set it and forget it! We're more of the Shoal's ilk and these units have been perfect for our fam of 4. The BHI club is still requiring reservations (3-hr slots I think) since the pandemic and I can't bear the thought of keeping to a schedule while on vacation. And then there's the beach service the Shoals provides...you're right there on the beach!But yes, this home offered everything we needed. No notes :) Well, hahaha there was the golf cart. We're not used to the newer, zippier carts so just be aware this one does go well above the 18mph speed limit. Don't ask me how I know....Thanks for sharing your home with us which made for yet another amazing week at BHI!

Wonderful family option close to East Beach

Our family of four loved our stay at Surfman’s Walk this summer! The location was perfect for us – a quiet street close to Shoal’s Club and Mike’s Bites. The kitchen was well appointed, beds among the best we’ve had on BHI, and the golf cart was new and quite zippy (unlike some others we’ve had on the island). The host made several thoughtful additions to make it toddler/kid safe and was in general, super responsive to our questions as well. Overall, a great option and would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Weekend!

Was a great stay! The house is fully stocked with access to a golf cart, bikes, and water sports- kayak and SUPs! We had so much fun exploring this beautiful island.

BH vacay

Always wanted to visit Bald Head, being an NC native. It’s all I imagined and more. I loved the beach the best with our own Sea World entertainment of dolphins. Surfman’s Walk was cozy and comfortable and not among the hubbub. Thank you for sharing your beloved home.

Wonderful experience!

This cozy cottage was perfect for our Easter vacation - check in was smooth (we arrived late, in the dark and it was easy). This is a beautiful location! There were nice touches everywhere and the house is set up for enjoying quality time with games, fast wifi, and a really nice golf cart :) it rained our entire trip and we didn't even mind because of how thoughtfully set up this island oasis was. Thank you for a lovely time!

Great weekend!

We had such a great weekend! It was just my wife & I for a quick getaway, but it would be a perfect house for a family or two couples. Very clean and had everything that we needed. We'd love to stay here again.
