Always Ride the Wave was the perfect location for our BHI stay. Clean, comfortable, and well stocked, ARTW was home away from home while visiting for a long weekend. We had a great time riding the bikes, walking to the beach and eateries, and carting around beautiful BHI. Thank you for making it such a wonderful stay!

Super cute…

Perfect place for 4 - was very clean and nicely updated. Loved the proximity to marina & fishing spots and kids loved the independence of biking to the shops. Made for a lovely little week away from it all!

My husband and I have stayed several times at the Royal James condos and this was by far the best rental we have stayed in. It was clean, well stocked, wonderful golf cart and the rental process was an ease.

Beautiful Weekend Stay

The condo had everything we needed and was very clean, with comfortable beds and linens. We all enjoyed the bikes and the golf cart and riding around the beautiful area of the island. Great location, central to everything! We chose this rental because it had access to the Shoals club but because the pool was not open yet we did not join. Still happy with our choice and there are many easy beach access points all around. Smooth and easy check in and check out process. Thank you!

Peaceful Cozy Getaway!

This condo is great! Perfect for a couple or for 2 couples. Everything is updated and the decor is just lovely! Furniture and beds very comfy. Kitchen very well stocked. Loved that tooth bedrooms had access to a deck. The view is private and you can see golfers tee off every now and then. Condo was perfect in every way for us! We certainly will be back!then.

Perfect

My wife and I came to Bald Head Island to run the Badwater Cape Fear Race. We made a long weekend of it and enjoyed everything about the condo, the island, and the race! We will definitely be doing this again next year!

Good stay

Easy check in, nice golf cart, clean condo (bathtub just needs a good bleaching....a few small spots of mold). Condo is just as pics represent. Only concern is the outrageous 'host fee' from the rental company. Cost more than the condo itself............over 350 for 2 nights and we had to strip sheets, load/start dishwasher, and take out trash. I'm confused what you are paying for.

Perfect long weekend spot

This property was a perfect weekend getaway! We were there for a wedding. The condo was adorable and the golf cart was so much fun. The beaches are clean and beautiful. I highly recommend this property!

Labor Day week on BHI

A great rental with lots of amenities! Always Ride the Wave had the most stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve ever stayed in. When we booked the listing advertised two bedrooms each with queen beds. When we arrived one room had a king bed, a plus, the other had a double bed, not as enjoyable for two adults to share. Location is great, pool company serviced the community pool several times during our stay, property managers were helpful and responsive. Overall a great place to stay!

This stay was nothing short of amazing! We had an amazing time in Bald Head exploring, eating and relaxing. We will be booking another stay here in the future! Perfect for 4 people to comfortably stay!

Thoughts on Knot Online 4c

We enjoyed Bald Head but there were a few things that I think the owners of the condo should look into. First, the golf cart is dangerous to drive after dark. Our first night was pretty scary because we could not see driving home. The light was replaced the next day but it still isn’t bright enough to see for driving at night. Second, we had a difficult time getting the sliding doors to open. They need WD 40 to make them easier to slide. Third, the camera on the back deck points straight into the master bedroom. They should consider putting it facing the deck rail. We felt like we had no privacy. I also think a full size Kureg and a new toaster that doesn’t have rust on it would be nice.
