Very good location, only 5 minutes walk to Palais des Papes or Avignon Centre train station. It’s also located right in the charming center of Avignon, surrounded by lots of stores and good restaurants. The Square Agricol Perdiguier in the neighborhood is a very beautiful park, ideal for a picnic…. The hotel is well maintained although the amenities are not high end. It seems like European 4-star hotels nowadays are in general more like 3-star hotels in Asia! The staff were courteous & helpful. Our hotel room was spacious & clean and has a comfortable bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel & would not mind staying there again. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

The location is at the city-center and walkable to all the historical sites. Our room is very clean and comfortable for two people. The hotel also offers nutritious breakfast with many fresh fruits, cold-cuts, hot dishes, delicious baked goods, cereals, and various drinks. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is a lovely hotel in a prefect location. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Parking was easy but outside the city walls so getting the suitcases inside is a bit of a challenge but that is to be expected inside the city walls! Highly recommend!

LOVED this hotel! Great location. Right on the square a block from the Palais Des Papes. Tons of restaurants on the square. True French experience. Breakfast was fantastic! Loved every minute here. We stayed in the penthouse. A few stairs but an incredible view of the town’s rooftops.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Avignon. It’s right in the main plaza with walking distance to a myriad of great restaurants. The hotel is clean, quaint and has a very traditional vibe. The rooms are a bit small, but other than that we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is friendly, helpful and flexible.

A Real Treasure

The hotel is at the corner of Rue de la Republique and Place de l'Horloge and is superbly situated for restaurants, shops and the Palais des Papes and the Pont d'Avignon. A free hopper bus stops right outside the hotel and the road train passes too although you have to get it at the Palais des Papes. Hotel is really comfortable and the staff make you feel like family and cannot do enough to help. There isn't a bar in the hotel but plenty around it, the breakfast is lovely with a mix of breads, cheeses, cold meat, eggs (scrambled and hard/soft boiled), cooked sausages and bacon, fresh coffee, freshly pressed orange juice, pastries and a cheerful "Bonjour". I would highly recommend this hotel and am looking forward to visiting it again although I believe they are refurbishing after New Year.
