Beautiful getaway and amazing for hosting with a caveat

We stayed here for our wedding weekend with our bridal party. It was an amazing location and had great views. It is listed that they allow parties and events. When we booked, that is the reason why we booked there. However, when we talked to the host. They said that we had to pay an additional 750. It would have been nice to know this before booking. However, we didn’t mind paying that since it was our big day and we really loved the property. Definitely recommend staying. Just make sure you know that there is additional charges.

Breathtaking Views!

We held my daughter’s graduation here! Had some family and friends stay Friday/Saturday and had additional guests come for her party during the day on Saturday. Tons of space for an event/gathering. Lot's of bedrooms and space to entertain! We had plenty of space for the platters & Charcuterie boards as well as the flowers we put around the living and dining. I wish I could share a pic of the balloons outside the entry! They were stunning and turned an already fabulous entry into a beautiful welcome for guests. I don’t know when the last time I saw that many stars!

Staff training - awesome location

FABULOUS LOCATION - STAFF TRAINING. EVERYONE LOVED IT. EACH BEDROOM HAS THEIR OWN BATHROOM, ROOM TO EXPLORE, FIRE PIT WAS AWESOME, SWIM SPA WAS FUN. WENT TO LOCAL WOULD RECOMMEND FOR CHURCH RETREAT, CORP TRAINING

Breathtaking views, nice and relaxing

The house was perfect for our group with multiple families over the Labor Day weekend. The views were breathtaking, plenty of parking, kitchen stocked, clean house. The kids loved the play area and like to explore around the house. I wish our group had more time to hang out in the spa/hot tub. The host and stay was great, we would definitely come again.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Setting

We looked and looked for the perfect house to host our joint couples weekend in Texas Hill Country and we weren't disappointed with our stay here. Both houses on the property were great, the cleanliness of the property was excellent, and the views from the main house were spectacular. We had an absolutely amazing weekend here and we can't wait to go back.

Enjoyable family retreat

Spacious home- plenty of room for a large group, beautiful views, location was good (close to amenities -food, breweries, zip-lining, Fredericksburg), and kids loved the hot tubs and playground (they would’ve been happy to never have left). I was disappointed that the house was not cleaner (the upstairs bedroom had what looked like dog hair on the bedspread and the stair rail was quite dusty), the ice machine didn’t work, and one morning there was water on the floor in front of the refrigerator. Despite the repairs/updates needed, we had a great time and would love to visit the area again.

Perfect Family Rental

I had a very positive experience renting this property. We had extended family coming in from out of state, many with small children and this was the perfect place. Every family had its own room and having the separate house was perfect for the light sleepers who didn’t want to be woken up by the late night chats or early morning breakfasts. The kitchen was AMAZING. Beyond fully stocked making it so easy to cook for a big group. The playground was such a fun feature. But be careful and supervise closely as we had two kid get fingers smashed on the door to the treehouse. I reached out to the owner ahead of time and during the stay and they were very quick to respond and helpful. W head a few people and Lyft drivers struggle to find the place at night, but it worked out in the end. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Serene Texas

Everything about this property made our stay a wonder and relaxing experience. The whole family 14 of us always enjoyed coming back to the home in Texas hill after a busy day of meeting our new family and friends. My son got married at the pecan springs ranch . It was a pleasure to know we would be going back to a calming and enjoyable home . From the moment we walked in the front door of the main house and looked up at the cathedral ceiling, until the final evening , while we were enjoying the hot tub . And all the time in between . Having the upright piano in the living room made for some after dinner fun;!for those who play and also for those to listen. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The main bathrooms with its walk-in shower was exquisitely designed . The views out of all the windows, from the bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area were all serene and calming. We sat on the balcony at the back of the house , almost every evening, to enjoy the cooling breeze and the soft whisper of winds through the surrounding hills. The Barndominium was similarly designed and furnished and just as hospitable as the main house . Our younger guests enjoyed having their own spacious and welcoming getaway , close enough for them to visits us old folks when they so desired . All of our party agrees, that when we return to Austin we will return to this peacefull luxurious property . P.S. we loved the hot tub!!! We thank you so much for your accommodation.

Needs cleaning and general maintenance

Overall the place was nice but there were areas that need to be addressed for guests paying the amount they are to stay here. First, there were no working lights outside the main house and driveway so it was pitch black at night. We all used our flash lights to walk around from the main house to the barndominium. The light bulbs on the porch of main house were not working and had not been replaced when requested. There were also a good number of light bulbs burnt out inside the house so only half worked. I had family and friends over for a wedding rehearsal dinner which I also paid extra to do here and was not happy with my grandparents walking outside on the steps and gravel/rocks in the dark. Second, cleanliness at the house needs to be addressed. My wife and I noticed dried mud on our bed sheet, so we ended up putting another sheet on top. The master bathroom also has one sink faucet that shoots water sideways and the master shower struggles to have water pressure since they are both clogged with hard water deposits. There were other areas that need to be addressed. Overall, I was not happy with the rate and cleaning fees that I paid to stay in a house that was not well maintained. Solomon was great when I spoke to him but I will likely not stay here again.

Okay house, but needs more info to help guests

We had 15 ladies come out for a girls trip. Originally we searched many houses to find one with a pool and isolated so we could enjoy our time. Many other homes said quiet times and no events. We found this one to say events allowed and nothing mentioned a time to stop music. It wasn't until 2 days before we get a message with more detailed rules saying no music after 10pm. When I asked about it and to see if the neighbors were sensitive they said it was posted on listing and would refund me. That wasn't what I asked, and it was not clear. All other locations have listed right up front. We never had bouse issues but it was frustrating that it seemed kind of hidden. The pool was also deceiving in the pictures. It looks like you can step right in but you have to climb up a ladder so it's not as easy to use. The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived and there were many places clearly not cleaned after they left. They house was cool, it served the purpose. If the details would have been more clear especially the pool we might have booked differently.

Great location, modern space, large patio

The house was beautiful with an awesome view, multiple patios, and a pool. Location was convenient and close to dripping springs activities. Only improvement was for the house cleanliness to be better, we did have to clean the kitchens, fridges and floors upon arrival. The hot water in the shower was intermittent as well. Other than those small things, the house was great for our group!

Solomon was very accessible whenever I had questions or concerns so the communication was great throughout, but the need to communicate with him was way more than I've EVER had to communicate with any short term rental property that we have ever had the pleasure to stay in and that's not a good thing. I'd asked about early check in as our flight into Austin was coming in around 11 and he said that they couldn't because they have people chkg out that day and needed the entire time to ready the place for us so that was cool. We arrived right at 2pm. Cleaning crew was still on site cleaning the barndominium. Mentioned the people prior checked out really late (has nothing to do with us), but guess that was their reason for not being done & out of there. Took them about another hr to finish up. There was trash left inside both houses in the trash cabinet bins & only found 1 iron to share between 2 houses (in town for wedding) so real need . I'll start with issues with the barndominium (house 2). On listing there was a queen, king & double bed as well as some twin mattresses that are situated in each of the 3 bedrooms. Bdrm 3 had a trundle bed, twin on top and twin that pulls out on the bottom. I had everything laid out to a tee for our family based on capacity & when I went into bedroom 3 and saw the twin trundle, that did not fit into our needs I messaged Solomon to ask about that and he insisted that was a double bed as is stated on the listing. I know beds and was absolute certain it was a twin and he finally apologized for the error & said he updated the listing. Nothing about our problem that this now posed with our space & sleeping arrangements... The stove was absolutely filthy, very obvious that it had not been cleaned in quite some time--charred black dried up remnants of foods past, disgusting. Bulb on the stove was inoperable. Cobwebs in the kitchen above the sink and above where the stove is located--maybe a minute detail to some, but when you are renting out a place for as much as this place rents/night shame on the owners for not paying closer attention. Bdrm 2 sheets of (barn) were filled w/ cat or dog hair realized that 1st night while sleeping because my sister's allergies flared up. Partial broken bed in the other house, dead bugs and spiders behind the piano and the trash outside was already piled up from the previous guests attracting flies. Couple pros outdoor cooking area was nice & spacious homes and very private.
