Beautiful cabin in the woods close to skiing, hiking and shopping with hot tub.

Welcome to Honey Jean Acres! Unplug and unwind at our peaceful log cabin with acres of tranquility. We have so much to offer, from relaxing in our indoor hot tub to enjoying the bar/game room. You can stargaze at night while enjoying our beautiful patio and fire pit. Skiing, hiking trails, fishing, restaurants and antique shops all within a stones throw.

Our home is constantly being maintained. Lawn mowing, and other drive-by (outdoor) activities might overlap your stay, but will not be intrusive. We’ll do our best to give you a heads up before anyone stops by.

House access:
-The door code for the front entrance will be sent 24-48 hrs prior to check-in.

Internet/Streaming:

-Our Internet Provider is Consolidated. Extremely reliable, stable, fast (~200 Mbps down/15 up)
-All Smart TVs can access most streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, etc. with your login and password. Both TV's in the game room and family room have Fire Sticks.

Surround Sound System - Sonos
Please download the Sonos App and you will automatically be connected to the surround sound system. There are speakers in the game room, family room and all season room.

The property is sprayed monthly for mosquitoes and ticks, but we are in the country, so please take the necessary precautions.
While our house is fairly secluded, we do have neighbors - please take noise levels into consideration.

Wood burning stove: you can use the wood stove in the dining area and game room. Please DO NOT use the one in the hot tub room or the basement.
The fireplace in the living room is gas and you can start by using the dial turning counter clock wise to the setting you prefer. The pilot should be lit at all times.

-Fire cannot be left unattended at any time
-Fire must be extinguished fully before leaving
-We have ample Firewood for use and extra that is stored on the patio and side of the garage. The wood by the garage will be dry as it is covered so in inclement weather you can use that.

Hot Tub:
- No glassware or other breakables are allowed in the hot tub or hot tub area.
-How to operate - The up/down arrows control the temperature. The light button will give options for color/rotation preferences which you can use up/down arrows to select your light options, then a brief tap of the light button will confirm your selection. Jets 1 & 2 buttons will turn on separate jets.
There are chemicals available if needed. If foam builds up put a small cap full of "foam down" and that will take care of it.

Outdoor BBQ:
- If BBQ is utilized please turn off gas and clean grates with a provided grill brush.

Outdoor Fire Pit:
- Please follow all safety procedures when using the fire pit:
- Check the wind direction before lighting a fire.
- Don't use flammable fluids (gasoline, lighter fluid, etc.) to light or relight fires.
- Don't wear flammable clothing (like nylon) or any loose-fitting clothing.
- Keep children and pets at least three feet away from the fire
- There are tools available for lid removal.

Bathrooms:
-The bathrooms are stocked with soap, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, and hair dryers
-Please avoid removing makeup with bath towels - we have black washcloths specifically for that purpose
-The house runs on a septic tank, so please be mindful of how much toilet paper you use and flush more than once if necessary. Only toilet paper is allowed in this system to avoid major damage.

Kitchen:
-Please help yourself to anything in the kitchen including tea, coffee, salt, olive oil, etc, and cooking ware, utensils, and appliances
-Please don’t forget to turn everything off and to wash all dishes and utensils prior to check-out. If the dishwasher has any dishes please start a normal cycle prior to leaving.

Trash:
-Recycling is single stream and doesn’t have to separated; paper, plastic, glass, can be placed in the same recycling bins

Pets:
Dogs - maximum weight is 45 lbs. no exceptions.
No cats allowed

*Please note that hot water will potentially run out if too many showers are taken back to back or the kitchen sink/dishwasher is used at the same time as shower. Please wait 10-15 minutes to start using warm water again. Home is on a well system so please be cognizant of water use.

Check out instructions:
-Double check all closets and drawers for personal belongings
-Clean out the fridge and freezer of all items
- Strip all bedding and place on floor; soiled towels etc.
-Turn off all lights and close all windows
-Sign out of any streaming services that you logged into
-Front door automatically locks when you close it.
