We spent 5 nights here, home base for exploring Asheville neighborhoods. Calm, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. There is a larger VRBO home in front that was out of the way. Out back is a fenced farm with a dozen horses. Marissa left us carrots to feed the horses, and a couple were eager to amble over and enjoy the treats. A management company is used to handle some details, and they never responded, which is why I docked the manager experience by 2 stars. On arrival, I had no code to get in, and the manager did not respond. (Fortunately, a note with the code was viewable from the window, allowing us to get it.) Marissa the owner, on the other hand, was friendly and helpful. Another good part is that it was just a hop to get onto the highway, making all of Asheville no more than 15 minutes away. Lots of windows and light, a screened front porch, and a small, open back patio, added to the relaxation, while a full kitchen and washer and dryer made it practical. The bed was very comfortable, no problems with temperature control.
