(1). Advertised amenities were not provided, namely, the hot tub, which was the main reason I booked this hotel over cheaper options. By the looks of it, the hot tub has not been operating for some time (see pics). this constitutes deliberate false advertising. (2). When I spoke with management about not providing advertised amenities, he minimized my concern, stating that that was just “one” of the amenities provided. He reluctantly agreed to give me a discount, but this never happened. (3). The heat in my room was working fine before I contacted management, but soon afterwards, the heat mysteriously stopped working. Since they use the Verdant system (see pic), they are able to set temperature settings remotely. The heat would not rise above 55 degrees all night (and it was close to 0 degrees outside) despite it being properly set to 70+. I believe this was retaliatory at worst, negligent at best.
