Beautiful property great location

Loved our stay here. This is our 4th visit to Akumal and my favorite condo so far. Location was great because it was a ten minute walk La Buena Vida and Turtle Bay Cafe. Owner was super great to work with. Plenty of space for everyone. I think there were only 8 units here, so not crowded and lots of privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay and relax!

We absolutely loved this property and the outdoor bathroom. It's an easy walk to Playa Akumal. Akumal Dive Shop and Turtle Bay Bakery. They helped arrange a birthday cake surprise for my daughter's 18th birthday so the cake was waiting on us when we checked in. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful stay

Excellent staff, they were friendly and met all our needs. Magnificent property. Close to snorkelling, many restaurants, grocery stores and comparably priced convenience stores and shopping. Loved our stay touring around with the car or just hanging around the property and cooking our meals.

Great

I have been in vacationing in akumal since 2005. Staying at a variety of condos and private homes. This home was beautiful and I really enjoyed my stay! I wish the pool was open a bit later and that owners of B1 would keep their dirty looks and comments to themselves but other than that 10/10. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property.

Convenient Location

This is our 5 year staying at one of the condos at Mi Casa Del Mar . It’s convenient walking distance from beach, restaurants, and other activities. Beautiful views from this Penthouse of the sunrise and the Caribbean.

Disappointed

Ants all over the kitchen and most of the cookware and countertop appliances were disgusting and well past their shelf life. Air-conditioning ONLY in the bedrooms and this is a very spacious property; so anywhere else in the condo was so unbearably hot, that it was nearly impossible to enjoy the rest of the property. None of the shower heads worked properly and they all needed to be replaced. Master bath which was one of the selling points to this place was not a good experience at all. The floor would be flooded every time we showered, so we opted to mostly use the other bathrooms, but they weren't much better, just less standing water to deal with. The water issue continued with the hot water tank leaking in one of the other bedrooms that we had moved to. The water heater situation was fixed within a reasonable amount of time and the owners were promp in their responses. We made the best of it and tried to enjoy ourselves as much as we could, but the place needs some attention before ever getting close to a 5 star property. We actually ended up staying elsewhere for a couple of nights. The shared infinity pool and iguanas were the highlights of this place. I will say it is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Overall, I would caution anyone prior to choosing this property as their home away from home.

Amazing Getaway

Mi Casa del Mar B4 in Akumal is an incredible condo in a beautiful little town on the Mayan Riviera. Service was impeccable and the property was top-notch. It's a great respite from the usual touristy resorts, and gave us a fantastic taste of the local culture.
