Brett was an amazing host! The Lasso Lounge was cozy and comfortable. Location was great with a Walmart up the street and easy access to the highway. Brett stayed engaged with us and made sure my fiance and I were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Abilene! What a wonderful stay at this property!! This property was for my son's Honeymoon night and it was just perfect! Such a quaint and wonderful night for them, the place was adorable and beautiful and they said they couldn't have picked a better place for their honeymoon! I highly recommend this place, not just for honeymooners, but for anyone looking for a super nice place to stay!

We were in town for graduation, but didn’t to stay in a hotel. They seem to be not the cleanest and loud. We were super happy about staying in this cute place. We would love to stay there again when we come back to town.

Second Visit — My First Choice When Visiting Abilene

This is my second stay at the Lasso Lounge, and it is always the first place I check for availability when I'm planning a trip to Abilene. You get so much more here than at a hotel room. The bed is very comfortable, the towels are thick and soft, and the kitchenette is handy for making a quick breakfast. Rustic chic is a good description for the place — it's done with style and fun. The location is great — right next to Hardin-Simmons and Hendrick Medical Center, but honestly, it's easy to get anywhere in Abilene from here. And you don't have to deal with the crazy scary frontage roads where most hotels in town are located. Communication with the host is fast and easy. You feel welcome.

Lasso Lounge experience

The property was just as advertised and more. Very cozy, comfortable and conveniently located. We were very pleased with the whole experience. We will definitely go back in the future when we are in the Abilene area.

Great little house!

We loved our short stay at the Rustic Chic Guesthouse in Abilene. It was super close to ACU, very clean, and quaint. We will definitely stay again as we visit Abilene often to see our kids.

Wonderful stay, wonderful host

I stayed for two nights for an interview at Hardin-Simmons. This was such a perfect place to stay to be comfortable and close to campus. I had never been to Abilene, so I really had no idea on food options and was pleasantly surprised by all the great suggestions this host had for me. Overall, the host was so kind through our messages, the property is clean and has an awesome vibe in a nice neighborhood! Hope to be back soon.

Cozy and Clean!

We were traveling to have a small getaway for our anniversary and this was perfect for that! The place was so comfy and super clean, perfect for couples. The check in process was easy and clearly communicated. The hosts gave us lots of recommendations. Our son had a campus visit at HSU so we needed a place to stay overnight. This was perfect!! Close to campus with everything we needed. We plan to stay here again as our son has committed to play football at HSU! Go Cowboys!

Cozy Get-away

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy guesthouse. It was very well-stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. The guesthouse is cleverly designed to use every bit of space. It isn't far from a very busy road so we did have to use a noise app each evening which worked very well. We especially appreciated the curtains which blocked the light while also having blinds for privacy. The house has an easy to use keypad lock and parking is right in front of the property. If you are going to be in Abilene, you can't go wrong by staying at the Rustic Guesthouse!

Brett had taken care to have anything we might need available to us. He was super responsive and quick to answer any questions I had about the property. It was a cute property with a nice shower, good towels and full kitchen. There were also nice dishes and a good selection of pots, pans and kitchen utensils.
