Good Afternoon Roberta, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent experience at the beautiful Salt Fork State Park. We were delighted to hear you found our team wonderful but must apologize for the issues encountered in your room and with your breakfast. Our lodge is coming up on its 50th anniversary next year and it is definitely beginning to show it's age. With that said, I'm happy to tell you we've completed several large-scale projects (e.g. new lodge roof, life-safety system, lodge-room doors, lock system, bedding packages and PTACs) and have many more on the horizon for 2022. Our goal is to keep Salt Fork Lodge and Conference Center the go-to destination it has become for the record-setting number of guests we were able to welcome this year for another 50 years. It seems we dropped the ball with your breakfast experience and I am sorry. It sounds like our team was able to take care of the situation, but I would like you to know that our F&B team employs a very high standard of safety and cleaning practices - I'm not sure how these issues happened, but we will be looking into it and making sure they do not happen again.
